I have been using these ear drops for my Beagle for almost 2 years! His ears get very dirty and smelly! These drops don’t require pre cleaning! They keep his ears free from accumulating ear wax and with the added hydrocortisone in it it also keeps inflammation down! He hasn’t had an ear infection since we’ve been using these drops! I’m very , very happy and can highly recommend them to my fellow dog owners who have dogs with problem ears ! The prize is good for the quality of the product and effectiveness!

This stuff works!!
So this stuff really works! On Saturday, my dog was scratching her ear and shaking her head. I was going to take her to the emergency room because we have never experienced this in her 10 years of life, but I really don’t have the extra funds. So I decided to do some research and stumbled upon this medication. The reviews were really good and everyone said how effective it was, so I decided to try it. Glad I did! I put some in her ear in the evening and by the next evening, she was no longer shaking her head. The head shaking literally started to decrease shortly after administering it. Today is Monday and she is not scratching her ears or shaking her head. I’m praying this is not just a temporary fix and it actually solved whatever issue it was. This stuff isnt cheap but IT WORKS!! And it works fast! Buy it to give your dog relief!Its oily so you can just wipe the excess off or leave it like I did.

This didn’t cost me 300.00 though and after I cleaned his ear on Day 7 I just put a drop of two in his ears every day Then wipe with sterile gauze Easy to use It lasts longer than you think Smell is not bad helps with any comes from yeast in dogs ear too Price is average other retailers sell it but it is about same as on Amazon good price 🙂

Really Clears Ear Infections
My dog is almost 14 years old and has suffered with chronic ear infections (bacterial and yeast) all of his life. My dogs ear infections are so severe that each would be covered with thick black gunk that caked over and you needed to use Q-Tips to break off the sludge; and they were also the smelliest. Multiple vet visits, medications, ear solutions and hundreds of thousands of dollars later and nothing worked. Feeling guilting for being a “terrible pet owner” because nothing I did was working and my dog was suffering, I started doing research. After multiple days of research and studying I decided to give this stuff a try and if it didn’t work then I was going to start from square one again and take him to the vet.Let me tell you how amazing this cleaner is.GENTLE ON THE EARS AND EASY TO USE: It contains hydrocortisone, which significantly helps reduce the irritation which means that his yelping from the sting of the medication was gone. Also, unlike the instructions that the vet was giving me, to swab out and clean out his ears which was physically hurting him; this stuff requires you to do nothing more than squeeze some in and leave them be. Because you simply put some in and leave it, there is no need to swipe, wipe, poke and prod the ears and he no longer fights me to use the solution (and the fighting can cause physical pain to the dog as well).WORKS LIKE A CHARM: This is the second bottle I have purchased and my first review because I wanted to wait and see if this was a product that actually worked before posting a frustrated, negative, review. Because of how bad my dogs ears were when we started, it took longer than the recommended amount of time to clear up his ears. Fortunately for me, the bottle allows for long term use and he will need this solution long term because of his history. Initially it took 2-4 weeks for my dogs ears to clear up of all of the black gunk. His ears went from black to fire red to light red to pink with minor build up. I couldn’t believe it. After all of this time suffering, I purchase a 35 dollar bottle of solution and he is fine? I was angry at the vet and thankful that I decided to take his care into my own hands.This is my second bottle as I have stated before and the only reason I needed to purchase it is because the humidity levels in my area are super high and moisture is once again getting trapped in his ears and build up is starting to form. His ear still are not as bad as when we first started and I am more than confident that they will clear right up again.WHAT YOU SHOULD DO: Find out what is wrong with your dogs ears, fortunately for me, I knew he had chronic infections from bacteria and yeast and knew what I needed in a solution. If you don’t know and haven’t gone to a vet, seriously see one first (They are the experts and can at least diagnose if your pet has yeast, bacteria or fungal infections). Follow the instructions given to you, honestly if you don’t, it wont work. Any bad reviews about this product are probably because there is something else wrong with the dogs ears or the owners are not applying/using it the way it needs to be done.That’s it, good luck. Had tried numerous different ways & products to rectify my cat’s yeasty ears which was giving her great irritation. Came across Zymox as a suggestion, applied once a day for 7 days- Problem solved immediately after one weeks use.! Even now a few weeks later she is irritation free and her ears are clear of black debris. Highly recommended.

This was a very effective ear cleaner, but it made my dog’s pinneas (ear flaps) very dry and scaly after just two applications. May be a little too strong for dogs with sensitive ears or skin.EDIT: After realising that all Zymox product reviews are lumped together on their product range, clarifying that this review is for the 1% hydrocortisone product. Sensitive dogs may do better with the 0.5% hydrocortisone or hydrocortisone-free products.
