the only pellets my quaker hasn’t rejected!
It took a few days of cold turkey to switch from an all-seed diet to these, and some testing but after multiple rejected types of pellets, my quaker will finally happily eat pellets! she hated the taste of the fruit ones no matter what, but the nut blend she enjoys. the only condition is that I have to crush them into smaller pieces with a mortar and pestle, because for some reason in the full size ball she doesn’t recognize them as food and will dig through the whole bowl tossing everything as reject and not eating.

Cockatiel enjoys it
Nice daily pellet food, smells nice, and my cockatiel regularly eats it. She has more than one pellet to eat. But took to this pellet very well. Good value for amount.

Picky Quaker Parrot eats it
I have tried multiple times to switch my Quaker Parrot from seeds over to pellet food along with fresh fruits and vegetables. She has refused almost everything except carrots. Never pellets no matter what brand I bought. As she has gotten older she has tried some of the other fruits and vegetables and found she liked those but still refused any pellets. I expected another refusal when I gave her these, but she ate them without a fuss. She eats the lighter colored pellets first, then the darker, kind of like kids picking out their favorite M&Ms candies from the bag and eating those first. I am going to start to sneak some of the refused pellets like the fruit ones in with these to see if she will eat them now.

The only food for my bird
My cockatiel is 19 years old and this is the only pellet food he will eat. He likes the different colors and will pick through to find specific colors. I’ve been told that he’s healthy and a good weight, which was not the case years ago when he was on a different brand that had seeds mixed in. Now I just give nuts and seeds as a treat. Seriously, I’ve tried other brands, and he refuses. This is the ONLY food my bird will eat.

This food has become my conures favourite. I’ve been buying it on Amazon as their price beats all the local pet stores for the same size bag.
