Excellent coverage and adherence. Makes painting trim and walls a success.
Pros: Good cost. Available in 1 Quart sizes. No overpowering smell. Adheres incredibly well to painted surfaces, wood, spackle and over painted walls. (You’ll learn how well it adheres when you accidentally get a drip on the floor or your clothing!) Provides an excellent uniform color and surface for paint to adhere to. Minimal sanding required.Cons: Difficult clean-up. Really adheres to paint brush bristles and paint pails. Dries quickly, sometimes too quickly.Used to remodel a room recently. Had to prime-over existing painted trim, new MDF baseboards and patched drywall. Product works great and new paint adhered to it extremely well. 2 Coats did a great job of covering-up existing paint color of trim and gave me a uniform base color to paint over. No shadows or color bleed. Worked great on MDF as well. This is my go-to primer going forward.

Great Coverage on Damaged MDF
Amateur painter. Used very little. Tinted this primer/sealer with acrylic for an old water-damaged MDF table that was made out of basically a black wood-colored sticker and showing the MDF on bottom and sides. Also painted the metal brackets. Kept reading how hard to paint MDF. Can’t believe how pretty and easy. Lightly sanded the water-caused bubbles, added a little $1.99 acrylic, painted in the house, too! Much easier than chalk paint and very similar finish! I was worried about the brush strokes but let it dry a few minutes while painting other sections and put 2nd coat, perfect! Haven’t put a top coat yet, not sure if I want it matte or glossy. It was a tester before painting more expensive, important furniture, so excited!

Good adhesion and odor covering
I used this primer to renew the lifespan on an old coffee table which had clearly been in a home with smokers and children, which you could discern by the awful smell and paint/crayon marks all over it. The smell didnât go away even after I removed the paints and crayons with extensive sanding. However, this primer did in fact remove the unwanted odors, I used two coats just to be safe, and my paint adhered to the primer well also. The paint itself didnât smell for very lint after drying which is a plus as my nose is very sensitive.Overall it performed well, looked nice and I would use it again for my furniture restoration needs.

Its Lame
Its lame, too thin. Takes longer than 5-6 Hrs. to dry. Don’t buy, look for something like Eastwood or better.

Covers well
While I was putting it on top of my white walls, I thought this isn’t going to cover the dark smudges on the wall and the white is whiter than my walls. Well let me say I was wrong, not only did it cover the marks, the white blended well with my white walls. I’m pleased with this product.

Good sealer.
This is working great on a 100 year old house needed repairs on many parts stripped down to wood.
