Beautiful woodsy scent for a gentlemen
This balm is a bit thicker than Iâm used to, but after warming up a bit in my hands, it applies great. My beard doesnât feel greasy throughout the day, which has been a problem with other balms in the past. The smell is a mild, sweet wood, which I really like. My girlfriend comments on it quite frequently.

Good stuff
I use it daily, it doesn’t really hold my hair but my hair type is hard to tame. Anyways I mainly use it for moisture, I apply it to my damp beard, being sure to massage some in to the skin under and the hair itself. I then comb it through and attempt to do my styling and then I follow up with a brush. Looks and feels brilliant and most importantly it keeps the beard from itching…. all the people that claim “beards are itchy” are just not using the right product or using nothing at all. It washes off my hands very easily also the Vanilla Rum scent is incredible! During the pandemic I did not use it as much since I was wearing a mask, but now that I can go without a mask I definitely use this stuff to keep my beard feeling and looking fresh… I use their shampoo/conditioner as well once a week… keeps it clean lol 🙂

Great product!
My husband decided to grow a beard and kept asking me to get him some oil for it. I didn’t like the thought of oil so I searched and decided to try this balm. The balm comes in a very nice tin with a screw on lid. Also fits perfect in a pocket. It has a very subtle scent that kinda smells like aftershave to me. A little goes a long way. The balm is somewhat thick and it helps to keep all the beard hairs in place. He just started using it but says that if he continues everyday use if it that his beard will get softer. He is happy with the product. I would recommend it to someone with a beard that wanted to tame and condition it.

Smells like wax, not sandalwood
The overall product is great except…. smells like wax, not sandalwood…Been using their sandalwood beard conditioner for years so found the scent in the beard balm a bit of a letdown..

Pleasing texture â not greasy or thick. Scent is faint but nice. Size of the can is great â I gouged out a hunk of it to put I. A mini-jar for travel, so can take it anywhere.

Zeus Beard Balm is the BOMB!!!
Smell is amazing, goes on evenly with a good beard brush, provides great moisture to your face and makes managing your beard a cinch. Definitely try out all the Zeus products from their shampoo to conditioner, beard grooming products, the whole line is freaking awesome!!!

Too waxy
I wanted to love this, but it has too much wax for me. I liken this product to a “heavy duty” beard balm with a higher ratio of wax to oils vs. a “normal” beard balm. The vanilla rum scent is intoxicating and I very much enjoy their beard conditioner, but this balm isn’t for my hair type. I’ve tried another brand’s “heavy duty” balm in the past and, while they might be a little better at styling, they’re not nearly as good at conditioning and protecting my beard. With that previous balm and this one, I seemed to end up with many more split ends than I do with a traditional balm. If Zeus comes out with another balm with less wax, I’ll try it.

One of the better beard balms!
Not sticky or waxy, but definitely helps shape a beard and those stray hairs! I’ve tried multiple scents and they are all pleasant and not too overpowering. Definitely reccomend!

Great smell, and works pretty well. At first I was avoiding this balm when I first started putting beard balm in my beard because of the smell. I warmed up to it though in the end and love the product. I have purchased the Sandalwood version of this balm and enjoy the smell of it compared to the lime version (but to each their own). I have three different balms I go to and this is one of my favourites to use. I use the Zeus beard shampoo and conditioner as an addition to the balm to make my beard softer. In the end definitely recommend Zeus Beard products.

The balm looks and feels very premium. Holds the hairs in place all day and it is non greasy with a faint smell of lime . The product came one day earlier than expected and it was packaged really well . Comes with lots of good oils and butters .

Description says unscented but it still has a bit of a scent, which isn’t very pleasing. Was looking for the verbena lime scent but it’s not as easy to get. It did soften my beard however, wasn’t too greasy. If thinking about purchasing the unscented version just keep in mind that you may not like the smell.
