If you can’t decide if you need an this kind of mat, going for this one is a good choice since it has very sharp points, multiple parts, is decently constructed and is affordable. The points are glued in as opposed to being placed by hand like the really expensive ones. If one comes off it can be re-glued or even hand sewn back into place since it has holes along the edges. The measurements of the set that I received were slightly off, but that is not a problem for me. The bag appears to be made of a flimsy cotton, but it is not canvas. Getting the parts out of the bag took some tugging, but I don’t plan to put the large mat back into the bag since I will keep it on a chair at home. I found this item to work exactly as described and I can use it without a t shirt. There is also a brochure that comes with the mats that describes how to use the items and clean them (hand wash). A neat surprise was using the mat for my feet. It made my feet feel like I had been walking on the beach!

This is something I was nervous about buying but am happy I did! I can only stand on the foot mat for 5 minutes with my full body weight 150lbs. Laying on the body mat is more tolerable. I am excited to see the benefits of this as I am a busy ER nurse who needs to find ways to stay grounded and relax

Kinda weak, comparatively
I’ve owned a basic mat like this for several years. If I didn’t already own one, I probably would’ve thought this one was great since I’d having nothing to compare it to. I bought this one mainly for the accessories. The one I have only came with a bolster type head pillow. I thought the larger sized pillow, back cushion, and foot pad would be nice to have as well. And I will use those pieces. But as far as the mat itself, I’m going to stick with my old one. It’s much sharper. Perhaps it would be too much to take for some people. But I think the intensity of it is what helps. You kind of go through stages; at first it feels borderline painful. You may need to shift about to for a few minutes to find a comfortable position. After a few minutes you get used to it, and then this feeling of warm bliss kind of takes over. This one’s not as sharp and therefore doesn’t have the same effect. I didn’t feel much of anything when I laid on it. The “cheaper” ones are actually much more efficient.
