WRITECH Bible Mate Journaling Set: No Bleed Aesthetic Highlighters & 9ct 1.0 mm Black Ballpoint Pens, Bible Safe Dual Tip Highlighters, Pastel Colors, Fast-drying. I cannot say how much I love these pens and highlighters. They are designed specifically for use in a Bible. They are lighter colors, so you do not highlight a word or passage, causing the color to bleed through to the next page, ruining what you were trying to read. The dual-end highlighters are in pastel colors with one end being the darker color portion with a chisel tip and the opposite end is a fine point in a different color. I love how easy the ink pens are to use, and how they flow, all are easy on your hands, plus they are very inexpensive. The pens and highlighters are very pretty, each of the nine is encased in an ombre light blue/pink making them stand out. Get prepared at church or wherever you use them, people will ask you where you got your pens and highlighters. Best buy yet!

Great Markers and Pens but not “Bible safe” as advertised
I chose to get these Writech Bible Mate Aurora markers and pens because they were advertised as âBible safe.â Itâs hard to find markers that donât bleed through the thin pages in my Bible, so I was excited to find these.I would say that these markers still bled through the pages of my Bible though. They werenât horrible, but you can easily tell what is on the previous page.However, as far as markers go, I loved them. They were smooth to write with and came with a variety of pretty colors. I liked the dual tips as well but wish like colors had been grouped together. While the design of the markers is pretty to look at, the functionality of having two different colors per marker is not great.The ballpoint pens included in this pack were great too, and I expect to get a lot of use out of them. They write smoothly, and I thought they were comfortable to hold.While this set isnât going to be used in my Bible as originally planned, I will still use them in my journals because I like them a lot.

They really don’t bleed through Bible paper
I was a bit nervous to try these in my study Bible but they worked really well. The highlighters glide smoothly and only needed one swipe, there was no spread and no bleed through to the other side.The colors are varied and bright enough, but they are not ‘luminous’ like normal highlighters. Maybe that is why they do not bleed.When I tested the pens and did the loops shown in the picture, they felt very bumpy/grainy to write with, but when I actually wrote words, they were very smooth and nice to write with. I wish not all of the pens were black, it would be nice if one was blue but that is just a personal choice.

Pretty colors, pens feel nice to write with, highlighters did bleed through regular paper
I ordered these because I love pens/markers, not because I would use them in a bible. So just keep that in mind while reading this review.The pens: I was pleasantly surprised on how smooth the pens write. They glide across the paper and have good ink flow. The barrel of the pens are pretty, I like the size of the barrel (not too skinny), and the material is a smooth matte – it feels velvety. I was a little bummed when I realized they were all black ink. I would have liked a blue. The pens are also “no click” so they don’t make a sound when you press the top to bring the tip down. This is totally a me thing but clicking the pens doesn’t feel satisfying and feels a bit cheap.The Highlighters: I tested these on regular printer paper which I believe is thicker than bible paper though I believe printer paper tends to absorb ink more than bible paper. I did have some bleed through, especially if I went over and area more than once. The highlighters smear the pen ink. The colors of the highlighters are decent, not too dark but colorful enough to be fun. The marker/pen side had a scratchy nib that I wasn’t thrilled with, they do have bold colors though (even the yellow!).
