Beware the Burn!
I’m giving this 3 stars because I think the supplement itself actually works decently… but beware the hot poker burning sensation you’ll get in your throat for about an hour after taking them. It’s bad enough that I won’t be buying this product again. I’ll stick with my usual multi-vitamin, D3, and just try some straight elderberry supplement, minus the ginger. I think that’s the culprit. I have taken this with a meal AND a 16oz glass of water, and the burn is still fighting the good fight in my throat. Yikes!I’m adding another star because the company reached out regarding my review, and a company that is proactive, even though my review wasn’t “negative” deserves credit for that in my opinion. The supplement worked well, I just couldn’t handle the burn, so it wasn’t for me. I’ll try their other supplements, though!

The carrier oil is organic liquid coconut oil which is one of, if not the best fatty acid compositions possible for this type of supplement. No random unnecessary excipients added to it. Bovine based gelatin capsule. Lanolin based cholecalciferol. Not just filtered water but the superior purified water. This could only really be improved in very minor ways that are basically meaningless like using organic gelatin. Very good overall ingredients for the price, especially compared to what is common in vitamin d3 supplements that are sold in most stores.
