I was pleased the “lime green” wasn’t lime green at all, it is the color they show in the image. I would call it more of a foliage green, that blends in nicely with the terrain. It stays put and is long enough in the back to cover my neck all the way, so unless you have an unusually extra, extra long neck, it completely covers my neck with no issues whatsoever. The material is breathable and seems sufficiently rugged to handle trail running or backpacking. You can always stuff a bandanna underneath any cap, but for around $15 this is designed for the purpose and is worth it. I would definitely buy one again.

I was very disappointed with other hat/neck guard combos. The hats didn’t fit correctly, were often made of nylon, & appeared deformedI like this cuz I can wear it with my own favorite hats, which I wear all the time. This summer has been extra hot & I’ve been outdoors a lot more than prior seasons. This comes in handy so I don’t burn my neck.It fits nice & snug on my hat, is lightweight yet protective, doesn’t block my view, and is breathable. Just what I was looking for. And, it’s priced right!! 😊

Fantastic material, BUT….
I’ve been looking for something like this, and chose this because I figured if the band ever broke I could easily use a shoe lace or another way to tie it, should that be an issue. I chose the color “cream”, which was supposed to have a variety of colors, unfortunately I received one that is almost ALL blue, with the tiniest bit of color in only a small area. So was very disappointed that I ended up with an almost colorless drape. If I wanted blue, I would have ordered blue.Aside from that, this material is top notch, the best. The band system is great, I wish it had different band colors. I intended to use it over my bike helmet, but there’s simply no way it will fit over a “Thousand” helmet. That is only a minor issue, as it is perfect under the helmet. How ever being under the helmet, causes the helmet straps to pull it close to my body, and tight, making it hot. No air flow. Despite this, I still LOVE this material. Design. Everything about this is perfect. However, I think I received a kids version. I am only 4’ 11”, and it is far too short, it will not cover the gap on my neck at the top of the neck opening of my T shirt, leaving a slit to get sun burned. So disappointed to find the perfect drape for riding only to have it be for a little kid. I have dumped the net upside down looking for this brand in a longer version. I even thought of buying two, and possibly having someone custom sew the extra length on. It’s just way too short after the helmet straps pull in in tight, where your neck bends in back causes it to pull even shorter. It’s not long enough to drape down, or hang freely. Five more inches would be absolutely perfect.Despite these issues, this thing is really nice material, superb construction, awesome design with exchangeable bands. Wow! I say Wow, because I have tried numerous other neck covers, and none worked. This really is nice, it would be perfect for a kid. My head is 20 inches in diameter, and the shorter band is absolutely perfect. PLEASE, please! Make a real adult version, and I will be back for another.

I have had many skin cancers, and have tried (no exaggeration) hundreds of sun protection products. And This Coolnes neck drape is a home-run.I am sun averse, and going bald, so if I am not bathing or sleeping or at a funeral, I am wearing a baseball cap. So I am particular about wearing baseball caps that I think look nice on me… NONE of the neck drape baseball caps on the market look nice on me, and when indoors those don’t allow the detachment of the drape.The Coolnes is absolutely perfect, it goes on/off in seconds, is super comfortable and gives very high SPF, and provides very good protection to most vulnerable parts of the face and neck. Der Stoff ist okay. Aber es ist ein kleines Läppchen, was nicht ausreichend den Nacken schützt. Man will sich ja auch bewegen und dazu eignet es sich keinesfalls. Leider habe ich den Retoure Termin verpasst…

I bought this specifically to wear on my Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike attempt starting March 18th, 2019. While I did not finish the trial (ran out of money), I did wear this for about 4 months straight. I washed it when I could but fortunately it did not hold smell. This helped to protect the back of my neck from the vicious south California sun. It easily connects to any hat and works well.Two things that could help improve the product:- This was just a tad too short. I am tall – 6’4″ – and have a long neck. This worked well with my collar flipped up but without it flipped, a sliver of sunlight could hit my neck. Making the product a tad longer (1-2″) would make all the difference!- Making a version that allows the user to wrap it around the front so that when the wind blows, it will stay put. I used safety pins sometimes to secure it to my shirt but a better answer would be a button or buckle that would help it stay put. This would of course require longer (wider?) fabric but would be a pretty easy design change. I spent a lot of time amongst windmills and boy do they blow.Overall, this is a great product and it lasted me so well that I still use it to this day.
