It does seem to be waterproof. The outside seems to get damp but it doesnât go through the pillow case. I tested it. I LOVE the color. However the zipper is definitely cheap and low quality and I donât see it lasting long. For the quality it should be cheaper. It will definitely keep bed bugs out or other bugs or dust from your pillow. It feels plasticy feeling kind of but I use a pillow case over it. It was big on my king size pillow but maybe Iâm wrong about my pillow being kind size. ð not the best value for the money.

Pillow covers make such a HUGE difference!!
I decided to get pillow covers after moving into an apartment and I’m so glad I did! My pillows last SO much longer and they stay fluffy as new inside of their protective zipper cases. The pillows are also stain free due to the waterproof pillow covers. The covers are comfortable and not sweaty. They also wash great.The queen size pillow covers fit my queen size pillows perfectly and they work as described. And yes, they absolutely protect the pillows from bedbugs. We did get them, unfortunately, but there’s no stains or bugs on the pillows. The zipper closure has saved me from having to replace my pillows.I’ve purchased several items from Utopia bedding and really like their products. I highly recommend Utopia bedding pillow protectors to extend the life of pillows.

Quality material and product
Quality material, the lining and zippers have held up through the high heat of commercial laundromat dryers. That was impressive and they’re still in great condition and the material is still very soft.

These pillow protectors are perfect ð they aren’t loud or plastic feeling at all, which are the only 2 things I look for. I’m a light sleeper and they are quiet, they are are soft. They fit a standard pillow perfectly. Haven’t had a chance to test the waterproofness yet, but they feel like they should offer decent protection.
