Great for removing wallpaper and general cleaning!
These sponges are just right for cleaning larger surfaces. They absorb a lot of water and suds up easily, and they are substantial in the hand. I use them for removing wallpaper. No chemicals, no steam. Just a bucket of warm water with a little dish soap, lightly score the wallpaper in a diamond pattern (I use a box cutter and donât press enough to damage walls!), and keep wetting the areas as you work. I did two rooms with one of these sponges and it shows virtually no wear. Stays soft too!

Sponge is fine
I thought it would be a bit longer, but it works fine. Material seems to be durable and it worked well when I cleaned two cars.

Best sponge I’ve found
Best sponge I’ve been able to find. Holds much more liquid than cheaper poly-foam sponges. Good big-job sponge.

Too small
I wanted a grout sponge like the ones they sell at Lowes. This one is just like that, only 2/3 the size.

Efficient sponge
Silly, perhaps, to write a review of a sponge…something as basic as anything one can find. However, this is a terrific sponge. I never had a small bucket and good absorbent large-enough sponge to do sloppy jobs in the house..cleaning the fridge, spills on the floor, tiles around my old fireplace, etc. I bought a gallon bucket and this sponge to make my life easier and they do. The sponge absorbs a huge amount of liquid and then squeezes it out without a struggle, every drop. It has a gentle enough surface to not scratch anything I’ve used it on, and mildly abrasive enough to get the dirt off. Great sponge. Sometimes the smallest things make life easier.

Good sponges for wet sanding
Used these for years. Works well for wet sanding drywall when lightly damp.

Good for pre-paint prep
I bought these to use for washing down walls before painting. We found them to be sturdy and easy to rinse/dry. I can see where they might be too large for someone with really small hands, but they were comfortable enough for our needs. There was no tearing or shedding, however they may perform differently on textured walls. We ended up not needing all of them (I expected them to shred) so use the ones we didn’t need for the paint job to wash the car. As someone pointed out, they will leave the surface wet due to the fine grain on the sponge material, but that’s not unexpected…and what towels are for.

So I don’t exactly use this for conventional cleaning purposes, but for asmr sponge squeezing/sudsy goofing around purposes, so keep that in mind. That said: this is a deceptively durable little sponge, soft enough to squeeze easily when full of thick suds, but resilient enough to bounce back after a squeeze. It absorbs loads of pine cleaner in one go, and does a decent job of holding it once used, but due to its material and texture, it’s not great at completely drying out a surface like a denser sort of sponge would be. The texture is a little coarse, which I think would make it very useful for gentle scrubbing!(If you’re someone else who’s looking to squeeze sponges, I’ll also add that the suds it makes are pretty plentiful for such a little sponge.)

Excellent sponge! I used this with a spray of strong vinagar and water solution and it cut through the grime. Nice and strong, is not soft. I recommend this product.

Great sponge! I use it for household cleaning. I use it almost every day and it is still in perfect condition!

good at soaking water, holds a lot, but is smaller than expended by about 50%. utility sponge should be big.
