Top quality filter from a good company
Working very well on my RF 70-200mm L lens. That lens was expensive and I wanted a nice filter to protect against light bumps and scratches. I spent 20 minutes doing before/after tests and could find no negative impact to image quality or flare, even shooting directly into lights. Filter is nice and slim with a minimalist look (very little writing on filter). It has a high quality feel. I would say this is a top quality filter worthy of use on professional lenses. I was impressed enough that I just ordered another for my 24-105L.I have Hoya HMC and B+W MRC 010 for other lenses, and the Urth+ is at least as good if not better. Plus I get to support environmental efforts with Urth.Note: The code to plant the trees on the box flap says to go to Urth website to enter code, but the site says “coming soon”. I was able to enter code on the MyGobe website. I guess their rebranding isn’t fully complete yet.

Good filter…better price
I always have trepidation when I order photographic products from Amazon. I ordered a new camera, it was shipped as an open box. I ordered these filters for some new lenses…I always put a UV filter on a new lens as soon as it’s out of the box. Cheaper to scratch or crack a UV filter than scratch a lens. This filter has a clarity and sharpness I hadn’t seen before in many other filter brands I’ve tried over the years. And more importantly, they offer good value. And it did ship ‘factory fresh’! Perfect. If you’re needing a UV filter this is the way to go.

I don’t like UV filters, but this one is really nice
I typically don’t use UV filters but I have some 70+ year old Leica lenses with delicate front elements I want to protect. I ordered this Urth Plus+ one because it claims to use German Schott glass and wasn’t obscenely expensive for a piece of glass who’s job is just to be invisible.I tested this filter on a Leica Summicron 50mm adapted to my Sony a7R II (42 MP). I did 1:1 comparisons locked down on a tripod with the filter on and off. I shot it at close, medium and infinity focus, every aperture from f/2 to f/16, brick walls, grey walls, high contrast, with the sun in frame, etc all pixel peeped at 200% blow ups on a calibrated monitor in a controlled environment.I can’t find any differences in my photos with and without the filter. This UV filter is actually as invisible as one could hope for.

Optical clarity is unmatched at this price point. A bit thicker than competitors, and the exterior beveled edge is quite coarse. Fount the coarse outer did not interact well with clothing and camera bags.
