Was skeptical at first but itâs great
There are a few pros and cons to this tool but overall initially what I thought were total cons Iâve come around to. I have really thick coarse wavy hair -Pros: it definitely cuts down on straightening time. Because you can have slightly larger sections since the heat is moving THROUGH all the strands unlike on top like a regular iron, it goes faster. It also is easier on my hands, I felt like my hand would always cramp up using a regular flat iron from squeezing it constantly. It heats up quickly and I also like how it has a guard on it to help prevent burning yourself. It also does work pretty well. It might be because of my hair texture so it wasnât necessarily always a âone passâ for me, but it worked pretty comparably well to my nice traditional flat iron.Cons (that are sort of also pros?): you should definitely put on the glove, because this doesnât have a clamp it can be hard to get your ends well. But I donât mind this too much, it leaves the ends slightly upturned or under turned and it makes for a more ânaturally straightâ look. So if youâre looking for completely pin straight, itâs probably not for you. My hair is still really straight, but not like stick straight and Iâm okay with that. Iâd also say you want to still do sections (I wouldnât recommend just using it like a brush, youâll need to section like with a normal iron) because hair can get stuck if you donât brush through or make your sections too big. BUT I did find I could definitely do bigger sections than with a traditional iron.Overall Iâm really happy with this. Initially I was annoyed I couldnât get my ends well but I donât actually mind anymore and think it looks better than with a regular iron. Also because it takes me less time, it makes straightening my hair instead of twisting it up into a bun every day way more sustainable. Thereâs a reason these have gone viral!

Best Hair Straightener Ever!
This hair straightening brush is AMAZING! I have long, thick, wavy hair that is prone to frizz up, and traditional hair straighteners usually do not give me lasting results. I previously used the Paul Mitchell Neuro Smooth flat iron, which was decent, but this Tymo works SO MUCH BETTER. I spray a little bit of heat protectant spray (Not Your Motherâs All Eyes on Me is the brand Iâm using right now), I section my hair and then just run the brush through a few times. Then I finish it up with a little bit of Hask argan oil. My hair now looks sleek and stays straight all day – the only time I have to touch it up is after I have it up in a ponytail at the gym. Iâm constantly getting compliments on my hair now, and it takes less time to style it with the Tymo than with my flat iron. I also have more volume because Iâm not clamping my hair between plates and flattening it out with this tool. I would advise to brush your hair before using the straightening brush to avoid getting tangles, etc. I bought this on Prime Day for a great price, but honestly itâs worth the regular price!

OMG!!!!!!!! The best straighter I have ever owned!
I saw this a while ago and did not get it because I thought it would just be another straighter that would disappoint me. I had bought the one that looks like a flat brush, but I hate it because it just takes too long and pulls a lot of my hair out and does not really do a good job. Then I started seeing TikTok videos showing this on all types of hair texture and it worked so well on even 4C hair and I was still not convinced until I saw someone with really puffy wavy hair straighten their hair in less than 10 minutes and she had extremely thick hair. I bought this and it straightened deep wavy hair like butter the first time and it even straightened synthetic hair like butter. I just got this today and I am glad I got it because this will probably sell out everywhere soon or cost an arm and a leg if you can find one. Hardly any hair comes out. It is my favorite item in a long time. It is worth the money! It also came with some accessories and a heat glove which was really really good quality. A lot of people sectioned their hair off I just combed it through my hair like a comb and it work really well, you should detangle your hair first though. Super easy to use and fast.

Great for those who canât use a flat ironer XD
Ohmygosh, where has this been my whole life?! Straightening my hair has never been easier! I kid you not, this is a godsend. Iâve owned an expensive flat ironer for years, but im too scared to ever use it XDI have so much thick curly hair on my head, itâs like I have enough hair for three people and STILL have enough for myself! Using a traditional flat ironer would easily take over two hours, even with a professional hair stylist. Now, it takes less than 1 hour! And Iâm not scared to accidentally burn myself anymore because of the anti-scald design.Results seem to vary, but I think it depends on what products you use in your hair, how slow you go, and environmental humidity. My hair has never been this straight and shiny.The only downside Iâve had with this is that itâs really hard to clean off any product between the teeth. Thereâs no way to separate the teeth from the grill, so you either have to use a q-tip or a really thin brush to get in there and clean.

I bought this for my daughter and Iâm actually very impressed with it. She has smooth/shiny, yet wavy/frizzy hair, if that makes any sense. This product really does straighten the hair beautifully and easily. You canât really treat it like a hair brush.. it kinda takes two hands to get the hair deep into the teeth of the brush. I hoped she could do it completely on her own, but I do have help her in some spots.. at least until she really figures it out. But I think the end result is much prettier than one of those heat brush things. Itâs more like using a flat iron. Love it!

Funciona para las de poco cabelloTengo mucho cabello lo tengo grueso pensé que este cepillo me evitarÃa la plancha pero no; es más fácil tengo un cepillo secador y me lo seco y me lo deja casi lacio pero esponjado y con la plancha me queda perfecto; pensé que este cepillo venir a sustituir la plancha pero por tener tanto cabello no entra a mi cabello entonces tengo que hacer muy pequeñas porciones para que funcione bien y me tardo muchÃsimo más que con la plancha, entonces NO lo recomiendo para quienes tengan mucho cabello; si calienta muy bien trae un guante que si uno tiene precaución no es necesario pero bueno lo use muy pocas veces

I am Latin, dark hair, wavy almost curly, a lot of quantity! And I am 39 weeks pregnant so I was looking like crazy for a hair tool fast and easy to use and that leaves my hair totally straight. I saw a video of the Tymo and I loved the reviews so I ordered and is better than the reviews. The best thing I have ever tried. Cheap but very good quality, leaves the hair looking healthy, the fastest one I have ever tried, just perfect. If you see too much smoke is because you have conditioner or a product in your hair you are not washing good because I didnât see any smoke and I put the max temperature.And just that. Go get it. this product is easy to use. heats up fast. you do however have to have very detangled hair. it controls the frizz nicely. i have less wavy hair and works nicely. my kids have curly hair and it works best with detangled hair.
