Smoothing my skin with no irritation; fragrance-free
I have been using this serum for less than a week and I am loving how itâs been making my skin feel smoother and look brighter! Unlike most serums that are water-based, this one is more like a light lotion. I smooth it on my face after cleansing and toning, and it has a super silky feeling, but thankfully is free of silicone. I do like to apply a day or night cream on top for added moisture and barrier protection. I appreciate that itâs unscented since I can sometimes get migraines from added fragrance. I have experienced zero irritation so I feel like this could be a good fit for most skin types, but if you are new to alpha hydroxy acids or retinol, start slow like the directions say.Overall, while this serum is a little pricier than I would normally pay, the results I am getting are making it feel worth it.

I try out quite a few facial serums and lotions on here and I was skeptical because of the price but I have to admit that I really quite enjoy this TULA nightly facial serum. It’s packed with good ingredients and it’s not irritating to my face and the it just feels very pleasing each time that I apply it. It’s midweight and it glides on and feels very protective without being at all greasy, soaks in well. My skin feels good after application, also soft. Scent is very low and innocuous. The packaging is also quite aesthetically enjoyable. I can’t speak to the retinol effects, because it takes more than a few weeks to really test that, but overall I really enjoy this serum. There’s just a certain something that really clicks about it.

Wonderful!
Tula makes great products, and this is no exception. This is a virtually scentless retinal cream with a bunch of other wonderful ingredients in it. It’s light and goes on smoothly. When using retinal/retinol products, I like to still use my usual nightly moisturizer. I applied my moisturizer after washing my face, and then I wait 30-60 minutes before applying this. I feel like I get the greatest benefit that way. Retinal takes time to work, so it’s early to tell how effective this will be in the long term, but for now, it makes my skin feel great and I feel like I can see it’s brighter already. Would definitely recommend!

Very Light
This is a super nice light lotion type of serum. It is super easy to apply and feels good on skin. You can see results pretty quickly. Do not over apply because this absolutely can dry out skin. Also I would recommend only using this at night since retinol can make your skin more sensitive to sun damage which would defeat the purpose of the serum in the first place. Beyond that this is super light and I have been sensitive to some retinol creams in the past, but this one I haven’t. I haven’t had any adverse effects. This also is unscented so good for someone that doesn’t like fragrance. High quality, would recommend!

LOVE Tula products, buttery creamy on my skin
I’ve been using TULA products for years and I love them. Their packaging is bright and fun which looks cute in my bathroom but the product quality is what keeps me coming back. This serum is moisturizing without feeling sticky or heavy, it goes on so creamy and smooth like butter. I’ve only been using it for a week so no drastic differences in skin yet but I’ve loved using it so far!

lightweight and comfortable
This facial serum works fine. It’s a lightweight cream. It feels very comfortable to apply. It quickly absorbs into my skin. It doesn’t cause any skin irritation, even though I have sensitive skin. I have used it before going to sleep at night. I haven’t really noticed any visible difference with my skin. I’m hoping that with time it might help my fine lines and wrinkles.
