Update: I am impressed at the care and speed that the customer service reps used to resolve the issues I was having. Itâs really good to know that they stand behind their product and are willing to support their customer purchases. I have updated my review based on my experience with them and it was a good one. The issue with the walking pad has been resolved, and I am satisfied with my results.Old:Purchased and used for a week. 15mins a day x 2 times a day.Pros:No assembly required, works right out of the box.Small , lightweightRemote is greatCons:After 20 mins of walking at any speed above 2.4 , upon stepping off the walking pad it has been making loud screeching and dragging noises (not typical sounds). – I consulted the manual, used the oil etc . No change . Therefore I cut my walking time down to see if it would help. No change . While walking on the pad no unusual noises, occasional lagging but not major .

I love my new walking pad! Itâs very sturdy, the remote is great, arrived quickly, well packaged. If you are accustomed to using a gym style treadmill and holding on while walking, a walking pad may take some getting used to, but worth the effort because it improves balance.

Happy but there are drawbacks
I purchased this because I live in the valley and it’s difficult for me to get steps in during the hot months (which is more than half the year, lmao). I do believe it is of solid quality for the price I paid.Firstly, the beeping noises, when using the remote, are unnecessarily LOUD – my boyfriend could hear them from the other side of the house while I was setting it up. It annoyed him… safe to say I will not be able to use this in the middle of the night, LOL. The sliding of the mat, both combined with walking and on its own, is quite loud – think shuffling across a hard floor in your shoes. You get used to it and it becomes white noise-y eventually.Another drawback is no inclination, but I knew that when I purchased it and purposefully chose this model because I didn’t want to pay extra for another brand that could incline. I don’t think it’s safe enough to jerry-rig it with some books to create my own incline, but I did consider it. I might try it once and see if it works, lol.Overall, it’s a great beginner walking pad to get your steps in during the day, which fits my needs. I doubt you’d burn a lot of fat without an incline to work up a sweat, but I love the increased speed so I could get my HR up.
