Depends on your hair type
My sister uses this and loves it. She has medium length, fine, easy to style hair. I had to give it away to her, because it wasn’t working on my hair – very long (past my hips, we’re talking make a mermaid jealous), very thick, and doesn’t hold styling well. It looked good for about two minutes before the waves I managed dropped out. That said, its GREAT for my sister. It came with a clip and a hot glove. The clip we used for sectioning, but neither of us used the glove -we were careful. It just depends on how you use it. But this had GREAT value, and worked super well for her.

The bristles make this a little difficult for me to use. My 2a hair is about 4 inches past my shoulders. Maybe this would be easier to use with even longer hair. I prefer a traditional curling iron without the bristles

Thermal brush kit
This thermal brush kit offers a decent 1″ thermal curling brush, along with a glove, hair rake for cleaning the brush and hair clip. The thermal brush does heat well, but reads the temperature only in Celsius (as far as I can tell). It is a nice kit, and offers a decent weight for the thermal heating. Overall, a decent kit.

If you have 4c hair, this could be used as part of your blowout process after the hair gets stretched out. Easy to use, but definitely works best when your hair is straight.

Easy to use
I ordered this for a bit of curl to my almost shoulder length hair. It heats up easily and quickly. Be patient if you don’t know how to use a curling brush. It comes with a glove so you don’t get burned. The rake is to clean the hair that may stay on the brush. Check the temperature when you heat up your brush. I have medium thickness so I keep most of my heat products on the medium button, dial or temperature. It is also an attractive brush. The temperature stays locked once you set it unless you change it so I would start out lower rather than higher if you are new to a heat brush or you don’t know the temperature you need. The cord swivels so you don’t have to constantly shift your hand positions. Good price for what you get.
