Ingredients
Persimmon Extract
Also known as dispyros kaki, this extract is a free radical scavenger that prevents premature aging and photo damage. It is known for its skin brightening effect by reducing hyperpigmentation, and can also regulate sebum production.
Seaberry/Sea Buckthorn Oil
Rich in fatty acids such as stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, and omega-6. The bright orange coloring is due to high lycopene and carotenoid content. With time the coloring will fade but does not diminish the effectiveness of the cleanser.
Squalane/Olive Oil
This nourishing antioxidant has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory benefits and protects your skin barrier as it is high in oleic acids and hydrophilic phenols. Studies show that the combination of olive oil and sea buckthorn restores compromised barriers.
Grape Seed Oil
An antioxidant-rich emollient, this plant oil derived from grape seeds nourishes the skin while removing oil-based impurities gently. It has a high content of linoeleic acid, vitamin E and phenolic compounds, and an anti-inflammatory effect.

Best oil cleanser i have ever tried
I have tried quite a few oil cleansers in the last 6-7 years. This is the best one. Better than Farmacy, better than Youth to the People, better than Naturium, and better than any other japanese or korean brands I have tried.It removes difficult makeup and sunscreen in 60 seconds (that is how long I like to massage my cleansers in) and it feels so silky on the skin. It has a nice slip to it so i never feel that I am tugging at my face. It all melts into my hands as soon as I begin to rub them together. My biggest pet peeve with cleansing balms is that they never fully melt into my hands and i am left with big cleanser chunks between my fingers. That is not the case with this balm. It is perfect.It does not leave a residue either, if that is something you look for. Personally I never mind either way because Im going to follow with a regular cleanser right after. But this rinses of clean and leaves my face feeling soft.There is a very pleasant scent to this balm as well. I donât find it too strong and it doesnât irritate my skin, either.Finally, the price is a bit wild for the amount, but honestly, I truly think i will keep coming back because I have never used a better balm and I donât believe i ever will.

Best Cleansing Balm
This is definitely a little on the pricey side but itâs so worth it! After using it my skin feels very supple and moisturized. I have eczema, oily, acne prone skin and it doesnât irritate me or break me out. The smell is also wonderful! I usually donât like using scented products but this cleansing balm is an exception. It comes with a scoop so you donât have to stick your grubby fingers in it! I wish it had a place to put the scoop in between the product and the cap though so you donât lose it. Every time Iâve tried other cleansing balms, I always go back to this one because I donât like them as much! I always try to wait for a sale to buy this one though as itâs a bit pricey but even at full price itâs definitely worth it

I bought this back in May, and am set to receive my next jar mid October. I think I will still have about a quarter left of my first when the second arrives.A little goes a LONG way!! This removes every bit of makeup and once rinsed makes my skin feel moisturized, not greasy.I follow up with a gel cleanser to treat my other needs, but you donât need to.The value on this is insane, considering itâs been 6 months and I still have so much remaining. I love the little spoon that comes with it, I feel like Iâm not putting germs right back in the tub every time I dip into it.Such a perfect cleansing balm, I really donât see a need to try anything else!

Effective for Removing Makeup/Sunscreen
Product is effective for removing waterproof/water resistant makeup and sunscreen and doesn’t burn my eyes. It does make my eyes briefly cloudy after emulsifying but not enough that I’ll stop using the product. Per oz it is expensive and only ends up lasting about 4-6 weeks with nightly use but it doesn’t break me out and doesn’t leave a waxy film on my skin after rinsing so I will continue buying (just watch for extra coupons).I like that it includes a “spatula” so that I’m not directly dipping my fingers into the product and the spatula is easy to clean off with an alcohol wipe to “clean” it.There really isn’t a smell to it or the smell is very mild. It has a nice glide even when used for more than 60 seconds (I usually spend extra time around my nose and chin where I’m prone to blackheads and sebaceous filaments and it does help loosen them).Will continue to purchase as I haven’t found another product that I like better and I’ve tried A LOT of oil cleansers/cleansing balms at a wide range of price points- just wish it wasn’t $36/month.

My favorite cleansing balm!
So when I was looking for a cleansing balm I came upon many reviews saying they have to wash after using the balm… exactly! A cleansing balm is meant to break up make up, sunscreen etc.. and prep your face to be washed by a face cleanser. It is not designed to be your only face washing step!That being said this cleansing balm is amazing. There’s nothing more satisfying after a long day then melting the makeup off your face. After which I follow this product with my favorite face wash. This works great, even getting off my eye makeup .. and it’s very gentle. You just lightly massage it in. Amazon says I’ve purchased this 7 times and I’m getting ready for my 8th jar.

Outstanding cleansing product
I am a licensed esthetician, formerly in medical esthetics practices, and this cleansing balm is outstanding! It rivals the BEST cosmeceutical products and has become my favorite cleanser among them all! The balm removes every trace of eye and face make up, and lasts a long time (about 7 weeks). I have sensitive and dehydrated skin (leaning dry), and this was both non irritating and hydrating. I love the emollient texture. Does not leave a residue behind! I do a double cleanse with the balm, I just use it in 2 different ways. The first cleanse I use directly onto dry skin, rinse very well using a wet bamboo wash cloth and then second cleanse needs only 1/2 the amount as the first cleanse onto damp hands and damp skin. It completely removes every trace from first cleanse including sunblock, warterproof mascara and stubborn makeup. The balm rinses perfectly with no residue or tightness; just fresh and hydrated skin ready for next step. Love it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This will be EXCELLENT for all skin types no matter what the condition from oily to dry and everything in between. Skip the wash rags and get bamboo wash cloths for a GAME CHANGER skin care routine. Everything was good about the product but the delivery took way longer
