BEST concealer in over 40 years!
I was born with hereditary dark undereye circles, and have spent So long, since being a young teen, attempting to cover them, with very little success. I 1st tried Tarte Shape Tape after seeing it in a few makeup videos. I’ve FINALLY found my holy grail! At age 56, I’ve now also got wrinkles around my eyes, which was making covering the circles even more difficult. This magical concealer does NOT settle into my wrinkles at All! So, if you’ve got mature skin, like me, you owe it to yourself to try this out!

Very good especially on blemishes
I have a love/hate relationship with this product. It sucks every bit of moisture from your skin, which is not good for an under eye concealer. I have to use a really good eye moisturizer underneath it just to be moisture-even at the end of the day. Also, it’s pricey, but it truly lasts forever and stays fresh. In the long run, I spend less using this than I do with inexpensive brands. That said, I absolutely love that it dries with a matte finish so that it really helps conceal under eye bags and circles. Every other product puts on a shine to some extent which makes them look worse. It’s truly fabulous on the occasional break-out to make it disappear better than anything else I’ve ever used. And it stays put, the color doesn’t change, and it doesn’t fade during the day. It dries super fast so you have to blend quickly. I’m also very fair skinned and it’s hard to find concealers sometimes that are light enough. This one is. It is still not my ideal concealer—primarily because it is so drying—so I’m still looking, but it’s the best one yet.

Can anybody tell me if their Tarte concealer came the way mine did? I haven’t even owned the brand before, so I’m a complete newbie. I want to know so I can have some piece of mind here. Did your product come SEALED on the outside, or the inside, or both? Mine came as if it had been used already, but I’m not 100% sure, so I’ll ask the experts here who are used to using this product for real.I’m afraid to try a product like this near my eyes after having suffered from periorbital cellulitis a few years ago due to an unexplained infection in that area. (Not caused by cosmetics, as far as I know, but you can understand my apprehension.) this goes right in that area.Mine has no plastic around the product, no inner seal at all, and I know you can’t always tell by this with certain products, but it seemed a bit light on the product amount when I pulled the little applicator in and out of its container. It’s hard to know, but it seems a bit emptier than it should, perhaps 🤔.Can’t tell that 100%, as like a bag of chips, sometimes a little product is lacking, and it’s still brand new, but I can’t help but question it, as I haven’t used this brand ever, nor a concealer in a tube in like 20+ years.I’m skeptical, and wondering if this is normal or if I need to exchange it 🤷‍♀️??? Hopefully, I can change this once I know more. I read about this stuff, and have been eager to try it out. Hoping to raise this review up, but I gotta know first of my product was used or not!

The most amazing blendable concealer, so buildable and looks amazing in person and lasts so well compared to other concealers. Works with many foundations and products. It’s amazing and I would always recommend this product as it’s so creamy. Will continue to buy!
