When I first received the pillows, they were flat and rolled up I believe. I left my pillows set out for 48 hours and they have been perfect ever since! I really enjoy the cool side. It is definitely cool to the touch and is nice to lay on. They have nice support, very firm and comfortable. I would recommend these pillows to anyone looking into memory foam pillows! I like that the pillow is covered with a thick, good quality cover. Other reviews stated that some of these pillows have had an odor, mine did not.

Total Game Changer
Truly, I had no idea a simple pillow could change my life!!! I’m typically a very light sleeper who tosses and turns all night in my elusive quest to find the cool side of the pillow. I got tired of waking up with a damp pillow from sweating during my sleep. When these arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the really nice packaging and little attention to detail – things like a sewn-on colored fabric label indicating which side of the pillow had the cooling gel v. non-cooling gel. The pillows came vacuum sealed and fluffed up completely in about 30 minutes. The instructions stated that a slight smell was normal and to place the pillows in the sun or simply wait for 24 hours or so and the smell should dissipate. For me, the smell was gone within a few hours of leaving them in the sun and flipping them a few times. The pillows are very plush and I thought it might be too thick and leave a nasty pain the neck upon waking. The instructions state you can remove the memory foam filler inside the pillow in order to adjust the thickness of it to your desired height. I thought that’s what I would need to do, but decided to lie down on pillow before I made any adjustments. And WOW. Just WOW. The cooling gel wasn’t plasticky or lumpy or anything weird and it was an immediate “Ahhh” to my overheating noggin. Not only that, but the memory foam filler gently conformed to my head and neck and kept it aligned with my spine – not too high, not too low and I didn’t need to make any adjustments to the pillow filler at all. That first night, I put my head on the pillow and fell fast asleep. No tossing, no turning, the pillow maintained it’s coolness throughout the night and I woke up feeling more refreshed than I have in YEARS. Now after 2 weeks, I am sleeping throughout the night regularly and have more of a pep in my step because I’m actually getting truly restful sleep. I know it sounds silly, but this pillow has been a lifesaver, as poor sleep is linked to heart disease and overall higher stress levels. I cannot recommend this product enough!

Very comfortable!! No lie!!
I recently purchased a new bed and mattress, but it quickly became clear that I needed the perfect pillow to complete the setup. This pillow exceeded my expectations! Finally, q comfortable pillow!
I have purchased dozens of pillows over the years, only to be disappointed with the comfort/support/cooling/whatever other reason, but I have found these pillows to be a perfect fit for me. The cooling side is nice, as is the bamboo side. The firmness is also perfect, not too firm and at the same time, is not super flatIdk how to recommend pillows to others, but these were a winner for me! Going on week 3 and I haven’t switched to a different pillow, which is rare for me!

Cooling doesnât last – disappointed
I purchased these pillows in October, and they were absolutely the best thing ever. I tend to get very hot at night, which often disrupts my sleep, but these pillows kept me cool and helped me sleep soundly without waking up multiple times. For the first few months, I was amazed at how effective they were. However, my only issue is that after washing them, they continued to maintain their cooling effectâat least for a while. Unfortunately, the cooling feature only lasted for about 3 months. Now, I’m back to struggling with overheating at night and having trouble getting a good night’s sleep. While the pillows were great initially, I was hoping the cooling effect would last longer.

I am pretty happy with this pillow. To be honest – I wish it was a LITTLE bit thicker with more stuffing – but it is just about perfect. One side has the “cooling” coating – I think they call it the bamboo coating. But it is noticeably cool. My wife tells me not to push that side into her back or she will jump – so it really is noticeable. Overall I find that it supports my knees such that I don’t feel any discomfort while sleeping (normal aging stiffness with sore lower back and tight hamstrings). I am not sure how I will eventually clean it when it needs to be washed – but for now – a good purchase.
