I looked far and wide for good lip balm/sunscreen and these are the winners! They don’t dry out my lips over time and I feel stylish and protected during camping and hikes. Only thing- you gotta find the right color, and it’s harder to tell from the picture.

Very hydrating, but different texture
So this shade is great. I love the way it looks on me as I have trouble finding shades that look good and neutral on me (Iâm like a caramel brown kinda skin tone). I donât like things too bright so this is perfect for me personally.I have noticed it does protect my lips well. (I live in Arizona where it gets up to 115+ degrees Fahrenheit with UV indexes up to 12 which is extreme. Itâs also super dryyyy and my skin is super opposed to the dryness. My lips usually get dark and dry but these have been pretty good at preventing that.TextureIt does have that like⦠cheap lipstick from those make up kits from when you were little type of texture to it. (I think thatâs what people are trying to say when they say it is sandy). So yeah don’t expect like burts bees or chapstick texture. This is like⦠thats the best I can describe it. It doesn’t bother me to be honest as I do dab my lips after application and it doesn’t feel grainy or anything after that to me.HydrationIt is nice and hydrating, but i like to lather my lips in chapstick and because this has color it definitely layers the color. Itâs also very like moist and oily like chapstick⦠So I just dab a paper towel and itâs perfect as I usually prefer matte stuff but this is actually really nice. I dont typically like things that shine but this is just like a great in between and I know itâs protecting my lips so itâs just a plus!ColorLove the color! Might go for a darker or more brownish color next time as I do like to keep my lips as neutral as possible and I like things a bit darker than me. This one is like rustic orange mixed with a hint of pinkish/maroon so it makes you look lively but also more on the neutral brown area idk.Worth a shot buying it tbh. I love it! Itâs a nice pop of color and chapstick in one with SPF! Just donât leave it in the sun or anything! I keep mine in my pockets and it definitely looks at me like it’s threatening to melt, but it hasn’t yet so I canât speak on that really.FlavorI didnt notice a flavor but my tastebuds are also super off since the pandemic sooooo Iâm not sure. This doesnât taste like anything to me.SmellThis has convinced me to buy the actual bottle sunscreen because I love that coconut cologne type of smell!! Very course almost like lip Scrub
The smell is overpowering, smell like their sunscreen but too strong to be in the product for lips. The texture also off putting, very course, almost like lip scrub. I had to come back here on the description to read if it is actually lip scrub.

As soon as I tried opening the balm the lower part got unattached and broken from the mechanism to make the balm go up. And the color on the lips is lighter than it appears.

The lip balm comes up easily but doesnât go down upon rotating it anti clockwise. This is too expensive a product to not function correctly. I had to manually press it down which distorted the shape of the product. Huge disappointment!!
