Nice projector different than others
This projector is different than the others i have had. The others put on some kind of light show on the ceiling. This one projects the moon or saturn onto the ceiling. There is an adjustment to focus the image depending on the distance from your wall or ceiling. I like the saturn slide more than the moon slide. The video on amazon shows many different slides but i only got 2 in my kit. I don’t see a link to get more slides. The images are projected in black and white on the ceiling. It would be nice to have some color but the images are sharp once focused and it looks very nice. You can make it rotate around or stand still on the ceiling.The sound is nice and overall i really like the projector. It seems very well made. It comes with a cord but does not come with a power block. THe block would have been nice, but i had an extra laying around.

Really neat!
Could use some improvements in functionality, but the picture is actaully really good once you get it centered. The meteor function only puts one meteor in the middle of the picture and there’s only one song. However, it is really relxaing and really neat. The vieos show a clear picture across multiple depths of a room, but you want to get it centered on a flat wall or ceiling to get the full effect. You might have to rotate the zoom/focus forever to get it in focus. Overall, we do really like it.

Bored in the Cosmos: A Galaxy Night Light Letdown
This reviews the âThe Star Projector Galaxy Night Light â Planetarium Projector.â What I found most pleasing about this device is the music it plays during the display of the only two starry hosts that are available, the Moon and Saturn. The two options only display one thing. Iâm at a loss to be sure whether or not there are any other components. I could not turn the dial to allow you to focus on the image. That dial is frozen shut; I canât move it. Perhaps this is a defect only for this device. This doesnât matter when it comes to the content. I did notice that the images changed color to blue, but it’s tough to say. I didnât see much change in Saturn’s image except at the beginning. There are no twinkling stars or movement at all. While shooting the video I was trying to show the outer circle of clouds, it may have had stars in it, but I couldnât see them since I couldnât focus. I set up this display on our cathedral ceiling in the living room; however, the outer ring display was too far. This could be due to it not being focused. I could open it up to point it towards the walls or ceiling, which wouldnât have worked because my walls are dark teal.I was extremely disappointed with this projector. This negative review may be only based on my experience; others may have had a device that wasnât defective like this one. Still, the content is boring, but the looped instrumental music that it plays is nice and relaxing.

Pictures are misleading!
The pictures show a blue color. This is not the case. Both lens are black and white. They do not have any color even when projected on a colored surface. There are a lot of options out there for these projectors, I’d recommend them instead.

I put this in my grandson’s room and he loves it. I really wanted to keep it for myself. But I made the mistake of showing it to him LOL. So I may have to get another just for me, it’s really cool. Especially at night, I think anybody would love this- a fantastic gift idea

Neat little projector/nite light
Runs on USB C and has battery built in, it comes with a charging cable â you will need a USB brick to charge it. There are two scenes included with the projector.The projector has music, if you like. The image will rotate or stay stationary on the ceiling or wall â itâs selectable. There is a sleep timer so you can set it to shut off automatically.Not a bad little nite light for kids or just some ambiance in the room.
