Optmistic that Astaxanthin Works
Who can tell whether many of these dietary supplements actually deliver the health benefits claimed? In any event, astaxanthin supposedly is one of the most powerful antioxidants, and therefore arguably useful for preventing age-related damage to organs such as the heart, brain, eyes and skin. Mercola convinced me of this, but his 12mg capsules (a triple dose) cost more than $1 apiece. He did NOT convince me that the quality of his brand is so superior that I should pay more than twice the price of alternative brands such as this one, a Sports Research Product. Put me down as a satisfied user, optimistic that one astaxanthin 12 mg capsule per day is doing me some good (with no concerning side effects, of which there are just a couple of minor ones). It’s difficult to tell whether astaxanthin is slowing my aging, but it’s cheap enough to gamble on.

I got this product because Astaxanthin was the key ingredient on a raved about skincare product from some celebrity makeup youtuber and being as skeptical as I am, I went ahead and just found what I thought was the best Astaxanthin on the market. I have to say I haven’t been having breakouts and the ones I do have don’t leave much of a pigmentation as they always have for me. I’m also noticing no breakouts on my body either. I’m gonna go ahead and keep up with this because why not, it seems like it’s actually made a difference.I’ve been reading reviews saying that they help with pain, joint, sunburn, etc and I haven’t seen any of those benefits. I actually started getting joint pains and arthritis in my hands recently out of the blue, so it doesn’t work for me for that apparently. I haven’t been in the sun to even know if it helps with sunburn, so I’ll have to keep my eye on it when I do. I have a chronic pain condition and I have seen no change in that.So skin yes, everything else no.Edit: After a while I decided to stop to see if this was the cause of my clear skin and sure enough I got acne again and it cleared back up after resuming this so holy sh*t, this is the stuff! I canât live without it now. Donât spread the word too much, I want this to stay in stock and be able to stick around!

Didn’t realize how well it worked until I ran out!
Miracle supplement! Started using this last winter to combat my dry eyes and skin. I didn’t realize how well it worked until I ran out over the summer, and figured I probably didn’t need to reorder again until winter. Within days, my face hurt because my skin was so dry and my eyes were watering again from my chronic dry eye issues. I ran out again a few days ago, and the same thing happened. It truly works as if it’s a pharmaceutical drug meant to treat severe dry skin and eyes. I will never be without it again!
