Cleansing with Water
Sea water is powerful for absorbing and removing negative influences. Fresh water can be used for this purpose as well. All fresh water falls upon the earth and is simply “passing through” on its way to the oceans. When fresh water is used in cleansing, it is simply necessary to command it (through prayer) to take the negativity it is removing to the ocean. If there is a difference and a similarity in the effects of fresh and sea water, we might inquire as to whether there is a difference between the effects of other types of water. Those who have devoted time to opening the intuitive faculty assure us that there is a difference. They say that each kind of water has its own particular function, and thus its own use in the universal scheme of things.
Cleansing with Incense
When we use incense to clean a place, we are calling those forces of the astral universe which regularly act to remove negative influences. We are simply calling them and asking them to work in a particular area. When we burn incense to improve the vibrations of a place, to give a place a more “spiritual” vibration, we call on those forces which naturally act to improve the spiritual vibrations. Each incense, or blend, is a sort of “telephone number” which is answered according to the sincerity of our request.

Easy Spiritual Cleansings
This book is easy to read and has alot of recipes for spiritual cleansings. I have tried a a few with good success. I put three moth balls in each corner of the bedroom and closet, my husband is sleeping better than he has in years he even looks better. I did the amonia and salt floorwash – 1 teaspoon salt in mop bucket with diluted amonia and water. I did the beer bath 32 ounces of beer with ateaspoon of salt in bath water submerge yourself at least six times and air dry. If your taking a spiritual bath take a shower first, so you will be clean when you get in the bath. This is a good book and the price is good. Lots of information. There is so much negetive energy out there why not try to counteract it. At least you will feel like you did something good for yourself.

Great help
This book was very helpful, it’s actually the first book like this that I purchased, I just wanted some basic help with how to get started. This was great. It’s like “cleansing 101”. I was able to go to a great little shop and pick up all the things I needed. While at the shop I asked a few things and hey all gave me answers I had seen in the book. It’s very easy to read and understand and I really like the way the author makes you feel comfortable with what you’re reading. My mom and cousin started reading it the other day and didn’t finish, but they really liked it… I guess I know what I’ll be ordering them for a Christmas gift. Anyway, for anyone just starting to work with any spiritual cleansing with no clue at all about how to get started (like I was)… I totally recommend it, it helps out A LOT.

Must-Have Book!
I have shared this book with several people.If one believes the basic principle that they are a creation, and energy is created, then I highly recommend reading this book to educate ones self on how susceptible energy becomes to being missed when in the wrong environment. For a young adult who is learning their place in the Spiritual industry, as well as for the individual who is learning spirituality, this is such a great book to start with. Often we want things, but you need to learn how to protect the things you seek, Higher Self included!! This book does that and confirmed for me that I’m on the right path.

Simple and Effective… but read critically
I love this book and have bought it for many of my friends and relatives!It is written to be used by those who have no formal spiritual or magickal training, giving them a spiritual first-aid kit based in many time honored folk-remedies from around the world for many common experiences and situations that one may find themselves faced with that result in various kinds of discomfort and unease. Those who suspect they have a problems on their hands from an energetic or spiritual source can easily use the methods outlined.Those more experienced practitioners who read this book, however, may find some aspects of it that may well wrankle. For instance there are several herbal entries in which very little information is given outside of one particular perspective on its usage – that is that one can use it to help quelch the desire to change their religious affiliation.While leaving one’s faith for another should never been taken lightly, I feel the implied message that doing so is a bad thing to be annoying and arrogant. I was miserable in the faith of my birth, and finding my way out and into a path that was suited for me is one of the best desicions I’ve ever made. Since many mainstream faiths already program their followers to be fearful of other paths, leaving can be hard enough without some book further implying that wishing to do so is a condition that one should try to “cure”.That being said, besides that and a few other blurbs that made my blood boil, I highly recommend this text as one that presents many simple methods of effectively cleansing one’s self and environment of unwanted spiritual energies.

This Book is God Sent, I Love, Love, Love it
I really love this book just for the simple facts that everything you need for a Bath ,being it spiritual, or romance, or money, is already in your kitchen or in your bathroom cabinet. Things like salt , ammonia, cinnamon , parsley to ocunt a few. The rituals are simple and any lay person can do them. I you, a lay person, ought to buy a book on Spiritual cleansing, it should be this one.

A must read for anyone on a spiritual journey!! There are many books on enlightenment, freeing the mind from illusion, tonnes on improving the body’s physical condition but few are as thourough as this on optimising your spiritual welfare. The book is written honestly & gives a large number of simple but extremely helpful ways to cleansethe spirit. One I tried worked immediately!Initially I was scared to delve into the spirit world as it has such a dark reputation, however this book, perhaps due to the simplicity of the cleanses & emphasis on prayer, made me see that cleansing the spirit is not only essential but the rituals are as simple as washing your feet.
