Do Not Give This Machine A Quick Brushoff
I have been using electric toothbrushes for many years. There is no doubt in my mind they do a better job than brushing manually. I have had brushes from the big names as well as from companies, like this one, that I am totally unfamiliar with. At this point I do not think the far greater price for the famous companies is justified. I get the same results at dental checkups pretty much. However, what I have also discovered is that not all of the no name brands are created equally. For example, I had one that was severely underpowered and another that quit working far too quickly. Based on the positive reviews this one has I was optimistic that this unit would be one of those that turned out to be like its more expensive counterparts. And it is. For the most part. The toothbrush is white. I prefer black, gray, red or almost any color but white, but that is unimportant. I only care how it functions-it can be as ugly as it wants if it gets my teeth clean. And I think it does a good job at that. There are three power modes, delineated by different colors on the LED light when it is on. Although it advises a break in period on lower power, I have been using electric toothbrushes for years and skip that sense. I am pretty sure this machine gets my teeth clean just about as good as most brushes. It might not be the best I have ever used, but it is certainly not the worst and is surely closer to the top than the bottom.I do have several quibbles with the product. The first is that no protective heads are provided for the brushes, meaning the dirt and grime that accumulates is able to get onto those brushes. My second problem is that although six brushes are included, there is no way to tell whose is whose. It would be very easy to provide little bands of different colors to put on each brush to differentiate them if more than one person is going to use the machine. However, this problem is obviated perhaps by my third gripe. On least on the unit I got, changing the brush is extremely difficult. Pulling it off the post that supports the brush is almost impossible and not worth it. WE did it a few times, but I have another toothbrush to use and will let my wife have this one. I find that that post that holds the toothbrush often fails, and I am afraid constantly stressing it will cause it to lose its integrity prematurely.Based on the toothbrush alone, I would give this 5 stars. However, predicated upon the problems I enunciated I am deducting one star. It’s a good toothbrush, especially for the money, and if the issues I enunciated don’t concern you over much than this is a product worth considering.

An ok sonic toothbrush, but not as good as name brands.
As a background I have used a Phillips Sonicare for about 6 years. I think it is one step up from the base model. I love it, if you are on the fence about a sonic toothbrush, just do it. However, maybe not this one.The battery in my Sonicare is still good, but I think the motor is on it’s way out. It doesn’t start right away and you have to give the brush a little hit or push to get it going. So when this came up on Vine, I jumped on it.At first I was impressed, the quality seems good and although a bit smaller than the Sonicare, it fits good in the hand. Using it though, I’m not so impressed. The amount of sonic vibration is much less than on the Sonicare. It’s like level 3 on the Eliteshine is equivalent to level 1 On the Sonicare. I’ve been using Level 3 on the Sonicare for years, so this seems like it isn’t doing much. I can back this up by the fact that my teeth just don’t feel as clean. For that reason alone this is going to be replaced soon and I don’t recommend it.Another issue I have is that there is no stand included. The Sonicare has a nice charging stand that hold the bush upright (whether you are charging it or not). Although this one will stand upright, it would tip easy, therefore pretty much requiring you to lay it down. I do like the fact that you can put the charging cable in you drawer and the cord doesn’t clutter the countertop.

Clean teeth and no complaints!
I really like this toothbrush. It’s smaller/more compact and quieter than my last electric toothbrush, and feels like it does a really good job. The charge lasts a long time. As I’m brushing, the toothbrush buzzes when it’s time to move to a different quadrant of my teeth (after every 30 seconds). It then shuts off automatically at the end of the 2 minutes. The 3 different modes are nice too.The only thing I don’t really like is having to lay it down to open the bottom and plug in the cable for charging. My last toothbrush had a charging stand, which was a little nicer and easier. But overall, I’m happy with this one.
