Solves sunscreen woes
I LOVE this tool for sunny Summer days! You can add any of your favorite rub-on sunscreens and screw on the top. The applicator absorbs the sunscreen nicely and rubs on perfectly! My kids much prefer face sunscreen applied this way- and you donât have to rub it on after! This tool does a great job.Like others have said- be careful not to introduce sand or other materials to the sponge and wash clean after the dayâs use.

GAME CHANGER for wiggly toddlers that don’t want to sit still for applying sunblock. You fill this up with whatever sunblock you want, roll it on your kid, rub in as needed, and off they go! It is SO QUICK.The one con I have is using it at the beach. If you are reapplying, and they have sand on their skin, the sand gets stuck in the roller and can clog it up. It can be cleaned out, but does make it a little more difficult. But for most scenarios – pool, soccer practice, backyard – it is the perfect tool for easy application!

I got this because I don’t like the feeling of sunscreen on my hands, and the description and reviews promised that the applicator would help with that. I guess it does help somewhat – I can do the bulk of application with the applicator, but I still have to even it out/rub it in with my hands. Also, my toddler really enjoys using it, so it made our morning routine a little smoother.I think that this product could be more bearable with some design changes.First, the bottom is flat, but the top is not – that means that when you open the top to put more sunscreen in, you can’t put it down, you have to hold it.Second, the section where you write your name is smooth plastic like the rest. I tried writing with Sharpie on it and it came off after a couple of times using sunscreen-covered hands to close the applicator. Make that part more textured or include a sticker we can put over our writing so it doesn’t wipe off.Third, the sunscreen gets trapped into crevices inside the applicator and doesn’t flow into the rolling ball part anymore, making it so you have to refill the sunscreen when there is still a significant amount left in the applicator. I have been opening the storage area to use the sunscreen with my hands for two months now and I still haven’t used up all the sunscreen inside (I have been trying to use it all up so I can clean it out properly). If there were sloped edges inside that guide the sunscreen to the ball portion, that would help with that.Fourth, someone who doesn’t use this often (for example, my daughter’s grandma) can’t remember which part to open for the sponge applicator and which part to open to refill for sunscreen, so multiple times, this has resulted in the top part being opened and the sunscreen spilling out all over our hands and the bottle. Having some labels printed on the bottle would help with that.Overall, this is kind of pricy for a medium-quality product that doesn’t improve my life that much.

My daughter hates putting on sunscreen but with this she does it herself, saving lots of arguments. It is so easy to use (even hard to reach places). Very portable – throw in a bag for a day at the beach or pool. Easy to apply, easy to clean, easy to refill. I will never be without one of these again.
