I chose this massager because it can be positioned in different ways and massage the feet, the lower calves, the upper calves, and arms. In terms of positions, massaging the feet works best. Then comes the calves when they’re lying horizontally because gravity helps keeping the calves deep in the massager sleeves. The massager in an upright position while seating works, but does not provide a massage as thorough as the horizontal position.Both the compression and the nodes provide a strong massage, but as mentioned before, it is the strongest when massaging the feet. The unit is not too noisy. I managed to attend a videoconference and have my feet massaged and no one noticed the the sound of the machine.Using it is a breeze and we really appreciate the fact that the massager keeps the heat even after the massage is done. The unit needs to be unplugged to turn it off entirely.The price of the unit is right compared with the competition and it comes with a two year warranty. I cannot tell if this unit will last but I will update the review if there is any significant change with its performance.UPDATE two years later. Still using it on a regular basis. Doing its magic after my long runs. Very happy with the purchase
