This is a fantastic hair product that I use on my boys and hubby uses as well. I wet my boysâ hair first and then schmear on. Not too sticky. Not too thick but just enough oomph to keep their hair in place for at least half a day of school. My husband uses a tad bit more and it gets him through the day. Comes right out with a hair wash and moisturizes the hair after. Very easy to use. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Arrived quick: 5/5Container new condition: 5/5Fiber cream condition: 5/5My hair is thick and 3-4 inches long. I use a light application. I want my hair to still move around. Not looking to hold it in place.Fiber cream hold type: Mid as advertised. Felt like wax . I stirred it around to make it creamy. Was hoping because it was cream it would be a little less strong. Sticky like wax, not smooth like cream.Hold strength: 3/5 Holds hair in place but not rock hard.Fiber cream scent: scent is pleasant and barely noticeable. People had to get their nose right up to my hair to smell it. I Can only imagine that someone would have to use a lot for the scent to be noticeable.Flaking: noneScalp irritation: noneWould I use it again: No, I prefer something a little weaker. Such as dove and cremo. The scent is more masculine, which could be better depending on what I’m doing.

Takes too much product for me
I’d like to review this higher because I think it might suit other individuals better, this perhaps just wasn’t my style. I’m not a hair expert so it’s hard for me to say.I’m used to using American Crew Forming Cream (the green one for the color coding folks), it’s a thick, waxy, cream that almost melts between your fingers as you rub it between your hands, has a yellowish/whitish beeswax type of look to it. It leaves a pretty heavy (shiny/greasy as advertised) feeling in my hair and is susceptible to humidity.I LOVE the more matte finish this Smooth Viking Forming Cream leaves in my hair, and it seems to hold up better to humidity. The fragrance is super mild but pleasant. This is a totally different consistency, upon opening it it almost reminds me of marshmallow fluff. After dipping your finger in, it’s roughly the consistency of soft margarine. Also compared to American Crew’s forming cream, this “reactivates” better with water. The more I have to add any water to my hair/product throughout the day with American Crew, the heavier and greasier my hair looks and feels. This seems to help my hair retain volume better throughout the day while allowing me to use some water to touch up as hairs come out of place.The Bad – A super tiny amount (think 2 or 3 peas worth) of American Crew Forming Cream is all that it takes me for all of my hair. I have thick hair, approximately 7 inches long on top, kept high and tight on the sides but not buzzed. I need a comparatively large amount (twice as much or more) of this Smooth Viking cream, especially anywhere in the back or sides where it feels like I have to add extra to tame short flyaway hairs. If you don’t care about how much you have to use, this product is awesome. May also be more well suited to shorter hair.Though I like the product, the amount I have to use seems like a lot and this is already (at the time of writing) $6.16 per ounce compared to $3.69 for American Crew. Because this is about 66% more expensive and I use twice as much or more, I won’t stick with it.I will more than likely try another Smooth Viking product at some point, the product seems good and despite both being dubbed as “Forming Cream” Smooth Viking may have another product in their line up that is more of a one to one match with American Crew’s. If I could achieve these results with another one of their products without having to use so much, I would definitely switch to Smooth Viking over American Crew despite the higher price.

I’ve use a number of these types of products on my fine somewhat thin hair – pastes, pomades, clays, etc. This one works quite well. It’s a bit softer than most, allowing you to work it into you hair without needing to add water or pulling excessively on your hair as you work it in. It doesn’t clump too much either which is great if your hair isn’t thick. I don’t notice the smell and didn’t buy it for that reason. Matte finish. Even with my longer Covid hair (~2′), it is a quick style in the morning. I’d recommend.

Special product for me as I wear it on my first date..But it is for short hairs..Not recommend for medium length or long length hair..Wavy or curly hair people should not use it…It’s hold is very low…U cant restyle it during day..

Great Hair Fiber!Defiantly lives up to its name when it says its the best fiber.Goes in the hair really easy provides a nice firm hold, not sticky or greasy and does give alot of really nice texture, makes my hair look and feel really nice and i do recommend this product. However, i do feel like its not worth the £14 asking price, especially when you only get 50ml (2oz) if you got 75ml i’d feel differently, but for what it is £14 is too much and there are products just as good for less.That being said i like it and it keeps for 24 Months which is very nice so i’m using this sparingly
