Versatile and strong massager
Iâve seen massagers like this over the years at many different price points, but never took the plunge. For some reason I never thought theyâd be effective. Boy, was I wrong. This one sits at a higher price point, however in doing some quick visual comparisons and asking a relative about her experience with a lower end product, I can appreciate the difference. This doesnât just have rollers, it has prongs so feels like very real and very strong hands. If youâre just looking for something gentle to relax you at the end of the day, this honestly might not be for you â if you have real problems with tension in your neck and near your shoulders, then this is a fantastic investment. Itâs almost painful, but in a good way, if that makes sense! The bonus is that you can also use it on your lower back, which I didnât think about at first. You can adjust it around between you and a chair to massage the exact area you need. Amazing! And also draped over your shoulder, itâs very versatile!I didnât find the instructions clear on which end was up, but you can intuitively figure it out when itâs on wrong. The button options go on your right side. Thereâs different modes and speeds, so if the default is too much, there is a lower setting that may work better. I donât find the heating option to be very strong at all, and I do feel like that could be improved. It doesnât bother me enough to ding a star though. I also really wish they added visual indicators for the different settings, the only light shows when itâs on or off and acts as a charging indicator. Speaking of charge, this lasts a long time too. I keep losing track of how many cycles it goes for, but considering Iâve sat down and run it for an hour at a time a couple days in a row, Iâm impressed. This is really a great value, and would make a great gift!

Didn’t work well for me
I got this because I suffer from a lot of neck and shoulder pain. I found the pressure was too much and the massager is quite uncomfortable – I can’t bear to use it for more than a few minutes at a time and I don’ feel like it’s hitting the right points, even when I try to reposition it. The heat seems to be non-existent and the manual and control options are very basic. Definitely not worth $80

This massage unit looks stupid and clunky when you take it out of the box, but OH BOY was it a surprise when I put it on my neck. There is some brilliant designer behind this, probably who suffered from neck pain, because it hits just the right spots and with enough muscle to fool you for a minute that you don’t have a massage therapist behind you. This is not the little rolling ball nonsense you’ve all seen, it actually gives your stiff neck a workout that will relax the trapezius muscles and prevent headaches. It is worth its weight (which is also substantial) in pain pills or gummies. And it’s rechargeable by USB-C. Nice for travel!! It cannot be operated while charging, but I intend to keep a battery pack and cable handy when traveling. This beats my so-called Shiatsu back massager all hollow. I cannot recommend this enough. It deserves six stars.

Works good, strong massager
My husband always get headaches and neck tension after working out traps. I got this with that main issue in mind, to help relax traps and neck muscles. How this works for you is going to depend on your size, for someone with larger muscles and a larger neck the pressure is stronger when this is positioning properly. My husband was trying this out and said he felt like he was getting a massage from a strong man with how much pressure this little thing applies. It was painful at times due to the pressure and sore muscles. I think the deep tissue aspect of this is pretty accurate depending on how you’re using it.The heating aspect wasn’t super noticeable but maybe I need to give it a full charge and then test this part out. I pulled it out the package and it has battery so we tried it out.There is not much to give you information on this. The manual is very basic and states what each button does but doesn’t actually elaborate on it. One button is for changing the mode but what is each mode? Who knows, there’s nothing to tell you. Just try it out and see if you like it.I think this is awesome for someone who struggles with tight muscles in the neck and shoulders. This does feel pretty solid and seems well made but we’ll see how it holds up.
