Works Well, Nice Entry Level Kit
This is a well thought out shaving kit. It comes with the pre-shave oil, after shave balm, two different shaving soaps, a stainless steel bowl, shaving cape/bib, and shaving brush. The only thing you need to supply is a razor.Everything is decent enough quality to be in a little starter pack to decide if you want to buy higher quality stuff or to give as a gift. The soaps and oils do have a strong smell to the point where I store them in a baggie as it was a little much even under my sink.Everything works really well. The soap lathers well and smells great. It didn’t irritate my skin or anything. Same with the pre-shave oil and the after shave. The brush is synthetic of course but at this price range I don’t think you can expect a boars hair brush or anything.For an intro into safety razor or straight razor shaving I think it is a decent little kit. I would suggest upgrading if you stick with it but it is nice to have everything in one package affordably to try it out.

The eucalyptus and mint pre shave oil has this refreshing scent that makes it feel like Iâm preparing for a high end grooming session even though Iâm just at home. The shaving soap lathers up really well and the brush feels like a little luxury with every stroke, way better than any old disposable razor experience Iâve had. I was also pleasantly surprised by the shaving bowl, itâs solid and gives the whole process a more traditional feel, which makes me feel like I know what Iâm doing even though Iâm still figuring it out. The aftershave balm is smooth and soothing, not too greasy, and it has a nice calming effect that leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed after the shave. I also like the beard bib, which definitely saved my bathroom from becoming a shaving disaster, such a small detail but it makes cleanup a breeze. Itâs a great set for a guy who wants to take his grooming routine to the next level without going overboard, and even though I donât usually go for luxury items, this kit made me feel like I was treating myself. The whole setup feels put together and honestly makes shaving feel a little more like a ritual than a chore.

You put it on, close the velcro at base of neck. And then attach the suction cups to the loops on the end of cape, and drape it forward to stick on mirror or smooth surface. The cape drapes and catches all the trimmed hair, which makes cleanup a breeze!Yes, the smell is definitely distinctive and strong of these products, but they smell fantastic and tone down naturally after use and wearing.I think this is an excellent kit that’s very giftable, it’s a great value.

Nice kit, fragrance is pretty strong
All in all this is a really nice shave kit. It comes with everything you’d need aside from the razor and shave cream. The components are all well made and well packaged and the kit looks very nice if you wanted to gift it. My main issue was with the fragrance they’re using. I found it to be too strong for my own tastes but it will likely appeal to others.

This is a well-appointed shaving kit. Comes with Pre-Shave Oil, After-Shave Balm, 2 shaving soaps, a brush, shaving bowl. Also a cape that velco’s around the neck; 2 suction cups affix the bottom ends to any flat surface (hub attaches them to the mirror) — very effective for catching whiskers for easy cleanup. The brush is well made; bristles are firm, but soft to the touch. The scented (I especially like the mint/eucalyptus one) soaps fit perfectly in the stainless steel bowl, lather up beautifully. Balm and Oil are both nicely scented, soothing, protective. No irritation. Attractively packaged, would make a great gift. Elevates the daily shaving experience!

Great kit, strong scent.
It’s a great kit that covers a lot of recommended shaving accessories. The scent is very strong though, so if you are looking for something on the lighter side, this is not going to work for you. The bowl is not as big in the product photos, it is roughly the size of a carry out dipping sauce cup, which is perfectly fine. The included brush is soft but has a slight firmness to help raise the hairs while applying shaving cream. Overall, its a nice product, just wish the scent was lighter.

Fantastic package for gifting to someone. Looking for a graduation present for a young adult, this is perfect. Has everything needed to make the shaving ritual relaxing and enjoyable. The brush, bowl, and two bars of shaving soap is where the value is at. The pre-shave oil and aftershave is a bit of a bonus, but also feels like space fillers. In any case, everything looks good and is high quality. packaging is well done and very presentable as a gift. Takes a bit of work to get the soap up to a lather, but works well, providing a pleasant shave. The scent is strong for a shaving cream, but not too overpowering. All in all, a good package. Best used as a present for someone who doesn’t have a shaving cream setup yet.
