Purchased through Vine for my wife, and family. Sharper image branded so expected the best. It is not the absolute best massager we have had, but it does work well. Provides pain relief, and relaxation. The rotation feels nice on your back, but even better on the bottom of your feet! My wife uses it for a plantar massage frequently, and says it feels great!

Versatile Self Care Device
Sharper Image is a trustworthy brand so I knew it would be a quality product and I wasn’t wrong. This massager does double duty on both the feet and back. The heat takes this to the next level. I love that there’s a removable, washable cover to keep the massager in top, sanitary condition. It makes a perfect gift for someone important in your life as it’s the type of product that everyone loves but rarely buys for themselves. Recommended!

Great but needs a remote control
This review for the Sharper Image Shiatsu Foot and Back Massager is being written after two weeks of regular use, primarily on my lower back , and so far, it appears to be well-built and able to withstand the weight from my back resting against it. This is my second Shiatsu massager, the first being for my lower neck, and both really do a great job of working the key muscles in the areas addressed. As a foot massager, it feels great as well, though for me personally, it’s more the warmth than the rotating nodes (though they do help), whereas my back “appreciates” the varying node rotations, in terms of pressure, speed, and direction, within each of the three settings. This gives you a nice massage.As stated elsewhere, the product includes a manual, charger plug/cable, and a velvety soft cover to stretch over the machine to protect it when not in use. My one question/complaint is why this massager doesn’t include a remote control. While it’s less of an issue with the feet, where you can press Start with the toes, reaching the buttons behind the back isn’t particularly easy or convenient, and would be even less so if the user is experiencing some back pain to begin with. It seems like an obvious oversight to me, and I hope Sharper Image will add them to the product at some point.One minor concern/suggestion is that I wish the electric plug port on the massager receded deeper so that there’s less risk of bending/breaking the plug. I say this for when it’s leaning against, and sinking into, a cushion/pillow during a back massage and the plug when behind the back. I’m not saying it *will* break (no evidence yet) but it’s something I may need to be a little concerned with.But again, if Sharper Image adds a remote control, its massager will earn that 5th star, because it’s well-worth the original list price.

My mom loves this!
Over the Thanksgiving holiday I was visiting and noticed that she was mostly using it on her back,and she loved it! She would sit in her chair letting it massage her. My sister told me she will often sit in that chair with the massager working on her back until she falls asleep! I told her she can also use it on her feet but I think she is enjoying it just as a back massager.I was really happy I found her something she loves so much!

When I see the brand Sharper Image, I know I can’t pass on this.I would say this is a perfect foot and back massager.I can lay on it feeling relaxed and let it does its work. – I hardily ever like sitting positions because most of them you can’t feel anything unless you lay on it or step on it.The nodes are sturdy, with the heat and movement it reaches the harmony of relaxation heaven.I feel I can be on this for hours!

Nice Lightweight Massager
Sharper Image® Shiatsu Foot I love that this massager is small enough that I can slip it under my couch when I am not using it. I also love that it can be used on your back or feet. The massager has 3 modes of massage, 2 heat levels, and 3 speeds. It also comes with a removable and washable cover for it.The heat gets toasty warm. The modes of massage are slightly different, one is definitely more aggressive than the others, which I appreciate on days when I want a little something more. The speed levels are obvious in their change.I did find that when used for feet, my feet will end up slipping around and moving a bit. The machine could do with some reusable pieces that would keep your feet from slipping off the bottom or sides. I like to move my feet around on the massager and get it to pay attention to different parts of my feet, it varies up the pressure some by doing that. For the back, it helps to have a pillow behind it so you don’t have to sit at a completely 90 degree angle to get the most out of it.It runs for 10-15 minutes, which is the perfect amount of time for a nice massage. There is no remote, so you do have to turn around to push the buttons when you are using it on your back. Probably not too much of an issue once you’ve used it a few times and memorized where all of the buttons are.
