Great Tool for Smooth, Frizz-Free Hair
Iâm absolutely loving this blow dryer brush! Based on my experience, you can always count on the Shark brand. This tool works wonders on my long, thick, and frizzy hair, which is usually tough to manage. What works best for me is using a microfiber towel for 2+ hours after showering (the longer, the betterâI aim to get it about 80% dry to save time). Then, I apply a light heat oil protectant before using the brush, and within 20 minutes or so on the highest heat setting, my hair is completely dry, smooth, and frizz-free. With cooler weather, it stays looking great for about 3 days. The only downside is the positioning of the heat comb feature button. Although I got the hang of it after a few uses, I accidentally activated the heated comb when I just wanted to use the blow dryer feature on the highest heat setting. That said, I still highly recommend this productâjust something to keep in mind!

Shark vs. Drybar (Shark wins)
The Drybar blow dryer brush was what I wanted so bad! I’ve had my eye on it for months. However there is NO way I could ever feel ok spending that kind of money on a dryer brush. After searching more I found the Shark dryer brush for half the price. I made the purchase.Day one of using it I was instantly impressed and mad at myself for never having tried a dryer brush before. I felt fancy like I just had my hair professionally done. It looked so good. Even the next morning. I excitedly told my coworker who said she owns the Drybar one and would bring it for me to try.I spent equal time with both brands to be sure about my feelings on which is better. TRUST ME when I say that the Shark is the one you want.Both brushes worked exactly the same with the basic function of a blowout style. Identical. There were only two features that the Drybar had and the Shark lacked, they were minor though; the Drybar had a very long cord and was light weight. Long cords are a game changer! As wonderful as those two details may be, are they worth a $110 difference!? No.Other details that made me question why a product can be priced so ridiculously high compared to one with a much lesser cost… Both dryers had identical noise levels. Both were the same length and shape. Both had 3 heat settings. Both glided through my hair the same. Both left my hair shiny, soft, healthy looking, full of volume and bounce. Both took exactly 15 minutes to dry my hair.What the Shark had and the Drybar lacked: the Shark has a little hook on the cord to hang the dryer, a wet and dry function (you don’t even need to turn it off to go from one function to the next), visible heat settings that are easy to read whereas with the Drybar you literally have to search for the settings because it’s all yellow, air flow is steady, lastly the Shark feels solid like if it were to drop it would no even get a scratch, it’s made from quality material whereas the Drybar is a thinner material and has zero grip.So two points for Drybar and six for Shark. Now that I’ve had both in my hands and hair I can honestly say there is ZERO reason to get the Drybar brush, not unless the long cord and cute yellow color are that important to you. The Shark is an excellent dryer brush and comb. You will never regret getting it.

I had the L’ange brush dryer and it just broke…for no apparent reason. The cord was falling apart and the switch broke somehow. So I needed to replace it asap and I found this, the reviews were good and I have the Shark brand vacuums and like them so I decided to give it a try.I have long, wavy/curly, thick hair, almost down to my butt. My hair was probably 50-60% dry when I used it. I can never get it perfectly straight on my own without kinks especially in the back, but this worked well and quickly…I think it took 30 minutes for it to be totally perfect. I typically have to use a straightener to finish my hair but didn’t need to since this has the hot comb as well, which I love not needing multiple tools!One downfall is, it does not have a setting where you can use the dryer & heat comb simultaneously. So instead, I just let the comb heat up and then switch back to the dryer mode while it’s still hot, that worked well for my hair. The only other downfall is how loud it is! I saw others mention it in the reviews but I literally needed to get ear plugs after using it the first time. When I first used it without ear plugs, my hearing would have to adjust after I’d shut it off, so I definitely recommend using ear plugs with it!Other than that, it works great and I’m glad I purchased it. I will update my review if anything changes!

Tengo el cabello muy chino y grueso y abundante. y este cepillo me ENCANTO! Ya he probado muchos cepillos, revlon (que dura muy poco y esta muy caliente y maltrata el cabello) hot tools igual que revlon, baby liss que nomas no sirve y este está deja el cabello liso, brillos o cero frizz y no lo maltrata como los otros tengo dos meses con el asà que en cuanto a la durabilidad no puedo decir nada pero lo demás esta 10/10

El cepillo llegó bien, con instructivos, se ve o parece nuevo y lo compré en oferta, no tiene tanta potencia para secado y mi perspectiva es que no es tan caliente si comparas con el revlon, hace ruido, no es tan molesto, mi opinion es que es para cabello delgado a mediano, lacio a levemente ondulado, usenlo con cabello casi seco con un buen protector de calor, creo que es mas para retoques, o algo rapido, si lo usan con pelo super mojado o mojado se va a dañar y van a tardar mucho, los materiales y el acabado del cepillo son buenos, de gama media alta, es un cepillo que amas u odias, no para aprender, si no quieres gastar compra el revlon, pero la verdad que ese es de una calidad muy baja.
