I have tried a generic version and there IS a difference. This is no gimmick. Alleviates muscle cramps and actually drained my sinuses when placed under shoulders and base of my skull.I cannot recommend Shakti enough.

Lives up to the hype
It really does help with sleep, I have noticed my back pain is less, but there could be other factors for that. If you want to sleep thru the night and feel energized in the morning, this mat works!! I could barely get thru 5 minutes when I started, now I’m up to 20 and I literally fall asleep on the mat.

Great product but a dog hair magnet. Would love a silkier tight weave version that uses metal spikes and also covers the whole surface and feels more sturdy. I find it hard to bridge the gap between the pillow and the mat on my shoulders.

Felt the âjoyâ of supposed pain from this (plus the Shakti mat), but unfortunately, none of the supposed benefits. Had to try this, as a friend raved about it. The videos for it do a great sales pitch, plus I love the fact that these are handmade by a community of people, so I was so excited to try it. I was prepared for the supposed initial discomfort, and ready to the great benefits afterward. What did it feel like? Like little not-too-hard, but not-too-soft little plastic rosettes in your back (if you have the mat) and on your scalp (if you have the pillow). I felt nothing afterward, ever. But maybe I didnât give it long enough, or maybe have enough âbeliefâ in its benefits for a long enough period of time (after all, half of the healing journey starts in the mind, and when it marries the body, recovery starts). Iâd encourage anyone interested to try it. Beautifully made product, gorgeous and ancient philosophy, might be phenomenal for you??

honestly, I bought this out of desperation, but I did not regret it. When nothing else worked on my back, pain meds, massage, acupunture…”RESTING”…this did!

Bought for my son who has a bad back. He already uses the shakti mat and loves it. He says 20 mins on mat and pillow before bed and he has the best nights sleep.
