I bought the bandages to wrap my 14lb. dogs paws. She loves to run on our brick pavers and ends up rubbing her nails and pad until they bleed. Boots made for dogs do not stay on her paws. The bandages work pretty well but do wear out pretty quickly. I’ve also used the bandages on our larger chocolate labs to prevent paws from getting burned on concrete. They tolerate the bandages a little better than dog boots.

I ordered a large quantity because I fractured a finger joint and the tendon pulled loose from the bone after a fall. It takes twelve weeks to heal, which means a lot of splint changes. This wrapping bandage stays put, even in the shower, and can be as loose or as tight as you need it to be to support your injury.We also used this wrap on our dogs foot when she sliced her pad. After we got the bleeding stopped, we wrapped her foot from toes to ankle to keep the injury clean those first few days until she healed. She loved that she could then step down on the foot without pain, and it kept the cut clean when she went outdoors.Donât wrap it too tight, or it could cut off circulation. Excellent product to keep stocked!
