This is definitely a mint heavy plumper. It stings a bit! It does add a noticeable plump effect to the lips, but it also gives that red ring around your lips that can make it look like you were a bit clumsy in application. It’s quite thick in texture but isn’t overly sticky.I’m a fan of it but the packaging could use some work. When you remove the wand there is SO MUCH product on the applicator. I end up having to scrape it before application which isn’t ideal and will eventually make a mess of the cap.

Iâm obsessed with this gloss right now!â¨Iâve been devoted to Too Facedâs Lip Injection Extreme for years, but you might know⦠that one has some downsides.Mainly, it makes your lips VERY red and if you accidentally get outside of your lip border, it irritates the skin into redness, as well.Also, my lips hurt the next day with Too Faced, due to the high irritation.This gloss still gives some tingle! But not that extreme pain that TF has.I love that it enhances the color of my lips without making them clown red.It looks GREAT on Zoom, Iâve been using it for that!My favorite thing about it is the formula – itâs thick enough to stay put, it doesnât bleed off of your lips like TF can.The scent and taste is exactly like a peppermint Christmas candy cane. Ooh, I love that and it kinda perks you up mentally, when you put it on. (peppermint is stimulating to the brain, so perfect for Zoom meetings, lol.)Iâll definitely buy this again because I love using a lip plumper that doesnât make me pay for it the next day in pain, like TF does. lol.

Overpriced but an Overall Decent Product, Looks Good, Tingles Gently, Adds Definition
There are a couple of things that I really like about this product, and then there’s the price point. The is a large bottle, but the room is for the applicator, not the product. It is clear, smells nice, and tingles in a pleasant way when applied. It is effective and pairs well with lip stains and other colors. But the price doesn’t make sense to me, personally. I am not a frequent makeup purchaser, and when I do I tend to try to find a balance between cost and quality, and I don’t feel that this particular product is beneficial enough for the price. For those who have a more open budget, this product is probably worth it.

Too irritating
I’ve tried a few lip plumpers and this one is a no for me. It was just too irritating, beyond tingling. I could endure the irritation if it were effective at plumping, but it wasn’t. I’m middle aged. Maybe it would work better on younger skin. On me it caused redness on my lips as well as outside my lip lines even though I’ve tried to keep the product inside my lip lines. The applicator that it comes with is far too bulky and was not helpful. I didn’t even care for the scent. It’s a minty vanilla. I would prefer no scent.

This lip plumping gloss is a great stand alone product, or top coat for your already applied lip color. Its smell is subtle and it is very smooth when applied. There is a light tingling sensation when applied. Overall, I have been loving this plumper and will continue to use it as my daily gloss!
