Included lots of tools for a professional flooring job
I used the flooring tool kit to install vinyl plank flooring. It included everything I needed to lay the flooring down. (Other than tools to cut the planks and a jam saw). Great value, lots of tools for the money.

Must have in doing plank floors
If you thought you didn’t need this set, you were wrong.I began the project of personally replacing the carpet with luxury vinyl laminate. And struggled. Tried lots of ideas with little success for 3 days. Finally broke down and bought this set specifically for the pull bar and tapping block. I had a mallet, and saw no need for the other items. It was my final try before giving up and calling the pro.LIFE SAVER. I went from struggling with each piece using a mallet and a wood block, to flying through and completing the 14×12 room in less than a day. The multiple sides of the tap block were wonderful to use, making each hit strong and securely knocking each plank into place. I found the special mallet to be more useful than I expected and ended up using it more than my own previous mallet. The pull bar was a total game changer too. From using it in the hard to reach spots, to just leveling out on the wall, to using it in combination, it was the only thing to truly start the first several rows without losing the alignment.I installed over concrete in a basement level, with going through a doorway, including a closet, and working under/around radiant heat.Wish I got it in the beginning and saved the headache of all the silly little dumb problems!

It gets a 3 because it barley lasted through job, metal on pull bar started bending so i had to hammer it straight again a few tines. Tapping block is complete junk, the design is horrible, save yourself and just use scrap pieces of plank, don’t use the tapping block or you’ll chip your flooring and end up with more end pieces than you want. Use scrap pieces as your tapping blocks for your floors. I didn’t use anything else in the kit. Just make your measurements correct, use multi tools to fit flooring under doorways if necessary. Gets a 3 star because hammer lasted and pull lasted the full job.
