I have been through round nose scissors, rotary electric, oscillating electric, and all manner of contraption in between and nothing trims nose hair without having to spend ten minutes, or more, making some very strange faces in a mirror and still missing those one or two stragglers that inevitably stick out and tickle just when you start an important face-to-face conversation with someone. I loathe every product I’ve purchased up till now.Enter these funny little Korean-made, finger-powered nose bush busters. I just finished my first try with them and at first I didn’t think they were doing anything because I felt no pull or positive feedback that hair was being cut. I removed the trimmers and checked and it looked like Sir Vidal Sassoon, himself, had stood inside my nostril and plied his talent to my unwieldy face hole fuzz.These Golden Birdies are absolutely effective without any fuss or hunting for stray hairs! They so neatly and sharply cut without missing anything, and the way they’re made feels like a very highly quality tool. Zero plastic parts and the dimensional tolerances are just perfect. Tighten enough to reliably cut hair but loose enough to be easy to work without any binding. I don’t think it even took a full minute to sort both nostrils. Well done, Royal, well done!You know you’re getting old when some of the joy and excitement in your day comes from a properly built, well-functioning nose hair trimmer. I ain’t ashamed though… If you’re sick of the crappy battery powered tools or shoving scissors up your nose, get these. They are truly a cut above anything I’ve ever tried and I’ve tried a lot.

Worked well
I bought this for my boyfriend to try because I felt like he his electric trimmer must not be working. He used this and he had the cleanest nose. It may take a little more effort and time but the results are much better. Originally when I ordered this I thought it looked really big for the nostrils but it fits perfectly, you can angle them as you need to get in the tip of the nose. It doesn’t pull on the hair and doesn’t miss any spots. I do feel like it’s a little expensive for what your getting and I’m unsure of how long the product will last for but initially I’m satisfied with the results

Not great
They’re cute, they work, and they’ll last of ever. But it’s just not an efficient way to do this.Compare one cut per second with a million cuts with a rotating electric blade.I just wanna wave trimmers around my ears and nose and everything to be okay. These require diligence, and time. And even then they’re still not as good as cheapo electric stuff.

TL;DR: Slow, annoying to use and has a spring that breaks after a year of use (1-2x a month usage). Look elsewhere if you want something durable and easy to use.I purchased this nose hair trimmer after my last nose hair trimmer stopped working. I had previously used a string of cheap electric nose hair trimmers, none of which lasted longer than a year before they started to have issues. These issues ranged from just having a ton of corrosion on the battery terminals to simply not working, even with fresh batteries.I was hoping that this manual trimmer would be the solution to my string of nose hair trimmers only lasting 1 year but here I am writing this review a year later with a broken nose hair trimmer.I do not recommend purchasing this set of nose hair trimmers. They require SIGNIFICANTLY more time than electric trimmers to do the same job. This was annoying, but I figured it was worth the trade off not having to worry about changing batteries and having a durable trimmer. What I found is that the main portion of this trimmer is quite durable, but the metal spring that returns the blades back to the starting position is not. The spring is quite flimsy and broke after a year of using it 1 or 2 times a month. You can buy a replacement for $3 from the ROYAL company, but it is not worth the hassle of actually using the trimmer.I personally don’t want to buy a new spring every year for these nose hair trimmers as they are slow and are very annoying to use compared to an electric trimmer.I don’t want this to be an ad, but I did purchase the Wahl Groomsman Rechargeable Precision Trimmer instead of buying a spring. So far, the Wahl is the best nose hair trimmer I have used. It has ergonomic grips and works much better, resulting in a quicker trim than with this manual unit. Also, the Wahl has a 3 year limited warranty. I’ve had the same set of Wahl hair trimmers for almost a decade at this point so I have high hopes for the nose hair trimmers as well. (ETA 8 months in and still going strong with the Wahl. I’ll update if it dies in another 4 months or so)

User friendly n being manual. very easy n safe to use, didn’t experience any hair pull or any other discomfort. Worth buying though bit expensive 👍👍

I tried a few electronic ones – all useless (Manscapes is the worst). The worked fast, perfectly and it feels indestructible.
