Concentrated shampoo- a little goes a long way
This is a small bottle of shampoo for the price from a little-known brand, but I find it is a good product for clarifying hair. Plus, the shampoo seems to be concentrated compared to others I have used. The pump works well but distributes only a tiny amount of product. Three pumps produces a small pile, much smaller than shown in photo. The first time I used it, I decided to see if 3 pumps would be enough for my long hair, surmising that there may be a reason why the pump is set to distribute such small amounts. That small nickel-sized pile was enough, which is a much smaller amount of shampoo than I am used to using. You just need to make sure you add enough water to really lather it up. It lathers up nice and creamy and has an herbal sent which makes me think of fresh herbs like mint and basil more than rosemary, but it smells nice and very clean and refreshing. It left my hair and scalp feeling extra clean, but not stripped or dry- I do use conditioner after. I am using this every few shampoos for its clarifying abilities, and a sulfate-free, gentle rosemary shampoo the other days. While I enjoy using this shampoo and think it is great for clarifying, so far I am not so in love that I expect to repurchase but will update if I change my mind- the scent is quite refreshing and lovely, and I may not want to give that up. I feel like the scent has aromatherapy qualities, smelling it makes me think of being in a mountain meadow or herb garden after a rain- it smells natural, not artificial like some drugstore brands. The scent is very refreshing, though not tingly as some rosemary shampoos can be.While bottle is smaller than you would expect, it will deliver many more shampoos than you would think as long as you use the correct amount of product. Most shampoos have a lot of water- you can add more yourself in the shower and there are environmental benefits to using less plastic to ship unnecessary added water. If you are a man with short hair I would try one pump the first time, and make sure to add plenty of water and lather well, massaging your scalp. See if one pump is enough even though the amount seems ridiculously small- you need much less product than most people would assume and far far less than shown in seller’s photo. People with medium length hair might need two pumps, most long hair 3. Add an extra pump if removing oil treatments or heavy gel or hairspray.

Very nice and rich lather with just a small amount. I was especially surprised how well it cleaned my scalp from buildup of other products I usually use. Made my hair feel like and overall fantastic. Nice convenient pump too.Very decently priced too!
