Excellent Curlers
These do the job and get really hot. You can tell when they are ready because the little dot on one of the big rollers in the middle turns white. It doesn’t take long for them to heat up and they curled really quickly. Great price for a lot of rollers and a nice variety of sizes.

Well designed set
I’ve been using this electric heat roller set for about a month. Love them! The velvety color-coded rollers heat up evenly and in 10 minutes as described. There are markings that show where to place rollers (3 sizes of rollers) into their correctly-sized heating elements. This is helpful because other sets have you guessing. Also the metal clips are extra long and hold my hair well. These rollers might not work as well for very long or thick hair. My hair is not quite shoulder length and fine.

I have shoulder length medium to thin hair. Good curls quickly. There is not a on /off switch, must plug in and then unplug once heated. Took 5 minutes to heat ( no signal when ready, time yourself), I left in 10 min and had very good curls , almost too curly, will experiment with less time. Use a ruler to show yourself the diameter of curlers- they were smaller than I thought ( 3 sizes, the largest is not very large. ). Did not tangle when putting in or out, curler ends cool to touch, clips went in easy, sad that they only gave you a flimsy ziplock bag to store clips separately. For the price, good buy.

Simply the best
I’ve had this brand and style of hot-rollers for YEARS and I needed to find new ones that would match the exceptional quality of my dinosaur-hot-rollers, that still work by the way. In resent couple of years I’ve purchased several other styles and brands of hot-rollers, but ended up just going back to using my old ones because none of the new styles I’ve tried come up even close to my old ones. I finally found these that looked very much like my old rollers that are still hanging in there. I tried these out the same day they were delivered and BINGO! YES, these work just as good as my old hot-rollers. The heating system is just a little bit different, that had me worried at first sight, but they do a great job. The velvet covers are a HUGE plus because it calmes the friz, it doesn’t damage hair at all, and it heats up hot for a long lasting style. You can use these to set hair for waves, or bouncing curls, or volume, whatever floats your boat. It all depends on the technique you use when rolling up hair around a specific size of a hot-roller.

Not so good for thin hair
I bought these for my mom because she said she wanted some curl to her strain hair. She has very fine thin hair. They didn’t work as well as she hoped but she still uses them once in a while

Challenging to use with shorter hair
I only gave three stars because of the clips that hold the curlers in place. Otherwise, they heat up great, and the whole thing keeps everything organized and accessible. If it weren’t for the badly designed (in my opinion) clips that didn’t work for me, it would be great. For long hair this might work out fine.Difficult to use with shorter hair because the clips that hold the rollers on your head require a lot of space between curlers.

Great for short hair!
I searched high and low and spent an hour on reviews from several sources before making this purchase. My hair is short in the front and a couple inches below in the back ( wolf cut) . I wanted to find curlers that would work for shorter hair. These were perfect! The bonus is they left my somewhat frizzy hair soft and smooth. I let my wavy hair dry naturally. Then out the curlers in for about 5 minutes and I looked like I just walked out of my expensive salon.

I’ve experimented with many roller sets, but nothing works as well as these. I like the velvet, and then ends stay cool to the touch. I have had other sets that get so hot I can’t actually handle the curler! I need more than 20 rollers tho, but went I went to buy a second set, it was out of stock. i wound up going with another brand (Conair) and recycled these, and have regretted it ever since. Much to my delight, these remington are back in stock so I bought two so I have double the rollers. I will never to back to another set. These are hands down the best for my long, thick, fine, straight hair. The clips don’t leave mark but fasten tightly, stay cool ends means I can roll quickly (about 15 min for my whole head), the velvet makes for painless unrolling, and the fact that they retain heat so well means that in about 30-40 minutes I have a tight set that brushes out into the most gorgeous pinup waves. AND, they are cheaper than I remember!
