Stunning videos — a work of art!!

Perfect for relaxing at the end of the day
Fabulous. Typically, I prefer the all nature sounds DVDs, but this one is an exception. The music is vibrant and exciting! Perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The filming was gorgeous of all films. Yes, you can expect that orange hue in most of the scenes. I love that there is a sunset hour, 2 choices of short films, and longer film with music. Worth every penny, will buy more.

Unusable for my application.
I had hoped to use this as a large projection for parties on a back-lit screen to provide decoration and to set the mood for a relaxing sundown background for a themed gathering.Unfortunately, sometimes during a scene the camera pans or zooms, which means that when the recorded images are projected onto a wall or large screen, it gives viewers a sense of vertigo as if the room is spinning or that they are being pulled into a time warp. Therefore, the content is unusable for large projection applications. There is only one segment that is suitable for large surface projection (camera doesn’t move), but it is marred by an unnatural starburst effect applied to the sun instead of giving us the soft, melting ball of light that we regularly see in nature. This same starburst filter was applied to several of the shorter scenes. Perhaps the filter was applied to make the sun less intense, but I found it unnatural and therefore disappointing.However, if you’re only wanting to display the DVD on a TV screen and you’re not a naturalist, the items that I find bothersome may not bother you at all.Also be aware that there’s a lot of orange in these sunsets. If you were hoping for glorious, multi-hued skies, you may need to keep looking.

Extraordinarily beautiful and relaxing!
I agree with the “MK” review. Mr Helsloot’s videos are amazing and his talent for putting these together and finding such beautiful scenes is extraordinary. Since I own many of his, I’ve seen a lot of different kinds of scenery and it’s REALLY impossible for me to say which one is the absolute best. Every one I’ve seen – I’ve enjoyed and was very happy I purchased them.

What a relaxing DVD this is. A must to view during the evenings, especially if you are having problems sleeping. Watch the most vivid and beautiful sunsets over shimmering seas and the surrounding landscapes as the sun slowly sets. Definatey a must to watch any time, but especially during the evenings. You will find that this trancelike glowing luxuriant beauty will make you drift off to sleep. Highly recommendable.
