Works well but
As an oily gal, I think this does work great but the main thing that has helped me with longevity, was making sure my skincare layers were very light/not too many, then spraying this mist on my face BEFORE applying my foundation and concealer. Once I’m done with my makeup, I apply this afterwards to seal and set my powder on top. It helps mend everything together and gives me better hold and grip. Granted, if you rubbed your sleeve against your face, it will rub off but that’s standard to most setting sprays. Some touchups are given for me, especially when you’re oily and those oils start to come up to the surface. I do still do some minor blotting of powder where I get the shiniest (t-zone), but this setting spray just leaves my skin looking fresh and honestly, just like skin. I can’t tell you how often I got complimented on how flawless my skin has been looking but they just couldn’t tell I was wearing my base. It has a soft blanketing mist and also doesn’t leave my face completely matteâmore semi-matte, with a natural shine. Highly recommend if you’re combo to oily skin!

I don’t wear makeup every day but when I do wear it, I want it to stay in place until I’m ready to take it off.I have only used a couple different kinds of setting spray so I don’t have knowledge of all brands available.I don’t like my makeup looking cakey. I have mature skin and if I use the wrong products, it looks horrible on me.I have used this 3 times already and I have to say I am very pleased.When sprayed on the face, it does go on wet. It takes a minute or so to dry but when it dries, it leaves my makeup looking flawless. Well, as flawless as I can possibly get.I have sensitive skin so I do have to be careful with products I use. I had no reaction to this spray which I’m pleased about.There are no noticeable odors.It went on nice and left my skin smooth. No makeup transfer and my makeup lasted all day.So far, I’m pleased with this makeup setting spray.I’m going to keep using it and if I continue to get the same result, this will be my new go to setting spray.

No offensive smell. Light mist that does a good job of setting makeup. I find it best to spray and quickly fan my face to set it, then do a second round.

didn’t do it for me
I don’t wear face makeup like concealer, moisturizer / foundation really and my makeup really consists of some blush and highlighter over my skincare routine. I wanted to have something to set that as I have come to realize by the end of the day, my “face” is kind of gone. I thought this spray would be helpful with that and while it did keep things in place, it amplified my skincare properties and made my face shiny. At first, I figured it was just until it dried down. But I soon saw later in the day, my face looked shiny and a bit oily. I don’t have oily skin aside from my nose area, so I can’t say it was me. Perhaps this is better for younger women, not middle aged ones.

Long-lasting hold
This makeup setting spray held up very well and my makeup lasted all night! I do have oilier skin and I noticed a reduction in shininess in my problem zones. It feels light on the skin and didn’t cause any irritation. Highly recommend!

PRETTY good!
this spray does lock your makeup in place for hours. its really not a bad option in setting spray. however, I noticed its more of a dry/matte finish than a hydrating/satin finish. I like more of a natural finish than matte. but it does set your makeup well! i live in the pnw so i am not sure how well it would hold up in hotter more humid climates.
