Great product
I like that this has a menthol cool feeling on the skin. The consistency helps the skin not get too dry. It is very soothing and feels great. I like that it can be applied multiple times. Makes my cold sore blister go away sooner than before. I put it on the top tip of my ear where I had cluster blisters. It surprised me how soon the blisters went away. It smells like beeswax mixed with a slight hint of menthol. The color is like beeswax yellow and has consistency slightly more dense than petroleum jelly. It is easy to apply. I use a new cotton swab every time so I can keep the tube clean.

I had to wait a few days after onset before this arrived, so I canât speak to its effects if Iâd caught it at the tingle. I did take oral lysine supplements alongside it, which may have attributed to the lessening of severity.I have been getting cold sores once annually and each year theyâve gotten progressively worse. This time, though itâs still gone through the typical stages (6 days in, currently), it never fully âbloomedâ outside the border of my lips or became super noticeable. Further, I am pregnant and have suffered with cracked, miserably dry lips for months and this is the first thing that actually alleviated those symptoms and has been pleasant to wear. I personally like the light menthol scent and cooling sensation. I will definitely repurchase to continue to wear as needed!

Goodbye Abreva!
I’ve always bought Abreva in the past. I thought I would try something new due to the outrageous cost of Abreva. I was pleasantly surprised! This product worked faster and more effectively! I highly recommend having this product on hand!

Works moderately well
Cold sore are a bear! Lysine helps to sooth it. I don’t know that it helps heal it any faster. Taking oral lysine is probably going to help more in the long run. I have also found that putting oil of oregano directly on the cold sore helps immensely, as the oregano can kill viruses….but beware…it burns for a few minutes. I had a foot ball sized cold sore on my lip and the oregano helped get rid of it within a week. Usually it would take 2.5 weeks for it to clear up. That being said, I’m still in favor of the Lysine lip treatment as it does sooth the pain. I’m only giving 4 stars because I think it’s pretty pricey.
