Good sized bottles; leaves my hair soft and shiny
Unlike other bottles of hair re-growth shampoo with similar ingredients, there is enough actual product in this bottle to last a few weeks with the length of my hair (middle of my back, and I wash my hair 3-6x a week). I’m in my mid-50s and about 9 months ago I started experiencing hair loss/shedding that I’ve been told is a symptom of menopause. It freaked me out, because I’ve always had long and fairly thick hair. I’ve been using products with sawgrass in them, and biotin, and caffeine, which really do seem to help, but the brand I usually get was recently out of stock in every store I went to (in person and online). So I tried this brand in a pinch since the ingredients were very similar. I appreciate that these bottles are much larger. I just started using this brand a few weeks ago so it’s too early to say if they will have the same long term effect my previous brand did, but so far, this shampoo and conditioner seem like they’re doing a good job, and bonus: they leave my hair even softer and shinier than the previous brand I used. The only thing I don’t like is that it smells like Lemon Pledge (the furniture wax). But to be fair, so does every other like product I’ve tried, including the one I was using previously (doesn’t matter the brand). Perhaps it’s because of the ingredients? If they made a lavender or peppermint or patchouli or typical shampoo fragrance, I’d be really sold on it, even if I didn’t need it for re-growth and just used it as a nourishing shampoo. I can deal the lemon scent since I have to, but it’s definitely not a personal favorite.

The shampoo is great, I started using this 10 years ago. I have a scalp sensitivity to some ingredient in mainstream shampoos and conditioners. This is just better.It takes some getting used to, and will take your hair about a month to adjust. The shampoo does not lather well in your hair due to more natural ingredients. I lather in my hands, and then apply it. I use 1 pump per wash, my hair is thick and goes just past my shoulders.I stopped using the conditioner, it’s too much for my hair. I don’t know if the recipe changed in the last few years, but it’s too thick and I have a lot of trouble getting the excess out…and I use less than 1 pump.

I have been dealing with severe postpartum hair loss. Chunks of my hair have been falling out for weeks as you can see from the first two pics and that doesn’t include when I brush it. I have a destination wedding to attend in March and was desperate for a miracle. Well I found it! I don’t usually wash my hair every day but I decided to do so with this product. My hair has never looked and felt better. From the pics you can see the difference within TWO DAYS!! I also use a microfiber towel and sleep with a satin bonnet. I have 3B type hair and so I usually HAVE to wear product in my hair or it will looks craaayyzeee. Well, I have not used product in my hair and when I wake up and take the bonnet off, I am good to go. I love love love this product. I can’t wait to see actually growth start back up. I’ll keep yall updated.

I bought it to prevent hair loss and regrow hair but it ended up clearing up my dry scalp right after the first wash. I started losing an unusual amount of hair after using head and shoulders for a few weeks. It fixed my dry scalp but made my hair fall out. When I stopped using it the dry scalp came back and the hair kept falling like crazy. I haven’t noticed a difference in regrowth yet but this product along with a good haircut has decreased my shedding by 75% so far. It’s been about a month. Smells great. I only wish it were a little less expensive.
