Product Description
How to use: 1. Shake vigorously as separation may occur due to the natural ingredients 2. Apply fifteen minutes before sun exposure 3. Re-apply generously and use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
The difference between Mineral and Standard Sunscreen
All mineral sunscreen uses zinc oxide which sits ON TOP of skin to reflect harmful rays. Although the Pipette formula rubs on smoothly with the help of super-hero ingredient SQUALANE, depending on skin color there may appear a slight difference in skin tone and mostly goes away after a few minutes.
What is the difference between a mineral sunscreen and chemical sunscreen?
Mineral sunscreen creates a barrier that deflects UV rays from the skin’s surface and stops them from penetrating. A chemical sunscreen penetrates into the skin and absorbs the sun’s rays, where they are converted into heat and then released.
What is squalane and what benefits does it add to sunscreen?
Squalene is a skin-moisturizing superhero all babies are born with, but it depletes over time. Our stable version, renewable, sugarcane-derived squalane, helps sunscreen glide on, adding weightless moisture to help bring natural balance to the skin.
Does the zinc sunscreen leave a white cast on skin and is this because it sits on TOP of skin to reflect harmful rays?
While our formula is designed to not leave a white cast on any skin color, all mineral sunscreens are unable to be completely clear as the zinc oxide sits on TOP of skin to reflect the rays. So depending on skin tone, it may appear slightly different
Can you use mineral sunscreen on a baby?
Because of their vulnerable skin, pediatricians recommend babies be kept out of the sun as much as possible for the first 6 months. After that, they can start wearing sunscreen for extra protection. Our formula is supremely gentle and non-irritating.
How best to use sunscreen?
Apply generously from head to tiny toes fifteen minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours and use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Limit sun exposure especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Pipette is gentle, 100% clean, and completely nontoxic.

I love this sunscreen!
I have pale, dry skin, and I burn easily. I wear sunscreen for preventing premature aging, so I wear this on my face, neck, and hands. I also have mild rosacea. Also, as much as I do prefer mineral sunscreens, some of the claims they make have been proven false or exaggerated. Science can’t actually prove that chemical sunscreens harm coral reefs because they can’t test on a large enough scale. And the claim that harmful chemicals are absorbed into the bloodstream is mostly a marketing tactic, not all sunscreen chemicals are harmful. Do your own research, and remember: the best sunscreen is the one that you will wear every day. That being said, here are my pros and cons for this sunscreen. The pros:- this is a mineral sunscreen: my face in particular can’t handle chemical sunscreens- it’s lightweight and easy to rub in- it doesn’t burn my eyes unless I rub them and get the product in them, which is my own fault- it leaves a dewy finish. My skin is dry, so I prefer this to a matte finish- I get a tiny amount of white cast, but it goes away after it gets absorbed into the skin- it is very moisturizing, I stopped using my moisturizer in the morning when I started using this- it smells like sunscreen, but not really. And it goes away almost instantly- it’s broad spectrum and SPF 50. We don’t know the PPD value, but 20% zinc oxide is pretty high, and zinc oxide itself is a good sun-blocking ingredient.- the ingredients: squalene is super moisturizing, and glycerin is a good humectant. It’s also fragrance-free- it’s NOT water-resistant. This is a pro for me for 2 reasons. (1) some water-resistant sunscreens make my face break out and (2) I can’t wash my face with a cleanser every day, so I need a sunscreen that comes off with just waterThe cons:- it feels weird on the skin before it absorbs. While squalene is very moisturizing, it has a texture and if you’re sensitive then this can be a little uncomfortable for a few minutes while it absorbs.- it’s also sticky while it’s absorbing- if you put a full 2 fingers worth on at one time, it feels weird and heavy. I do 1 finger, let it absorb, then do another 1 fingerI work in an office, so I only apply this before I leave for work. If I’m out for the day, I re-apply every 2 hours. After the 4th or so application it does start to feel heavy, but at least I know my skin is moisturized and protected. All in all, I will be repurchasing this as long as they don’t make it water-resistant. I can wear it every day, and reapply as needed with no issues.Update 5/9/2022I have repurchased this sunscreen twice now. I still love it and it’s the only one I can use consistently. Another pro is that the squalane makes this a really good slip for my morning gua sha routine.

My Fav â¤ï¸
So last year I was looking for a sunscreen that wasnt toxic for me or the sea 𪸠ð ð (or at least not to toxic, cause most are), one that didnt have a white cast 𤡠(especially with my makeup), and that can do the job no matter what climate I’m in âï¸.Also my husband needed something that wouldnt burn ð¥ or irritate his eyes. After all my research I ended up with this brand and Thrive. Both great products but I love that Pipette didnt have much of a scent. Not that Thrive has a bad or overwhelming scent to me, but there still a lemon-ish smell.Pipette checked all my boxes, especially in Mexico ð¥µ.My husband and I wore it everyday and still do.I thought the bottle was to small to use on 3 adults for a whole week using it as directed especially when it comes to reapplying. We still had a little bit left after the trip. ðMy husband used up all the Thrive sunscreen days within the trip b/c hes very fair skin and he over does things sometimes.ð¤¦ð½ââï¸I dont know if Thrive sunscreen hurt his eyes but Pipette did not at all.ð ð¾ââï¸As fair skin as he is he didnt burn the whole trip and he got a nice tan which is very hard for him since hes a burnner. All in all this is a great product for my family 𥰠and Im looking forward to trying out their other products. This is my 2nd or 3rd time buying it on here and the first time my package was delayed 2 days.Just something to think about if you have a big trip coming.

I like it
Ingredients are minimal and it is on the hydrating side. I use it on my body and the white cast is minimal on fair skin.

Not as much white as others
I’ve been looking for a “safe” sunscreen that wasn’t as white as others. This is definitely thinner liquid and easier to blend in than others. Still a little white residue.I will update after using a few weeks.

I am very happy i found this Mineral SPF. After finding out i am pregnant I had to change a lot of my cosmetics and I was struggling to find a good sunscreen that doesn’t make my makeup look cakey. It is light-weigh and can look a bit oily on itâs own but it performs great under makeup, I highly recommend it if you are looking for pure mineral SPF that is safe during pregnancy and for your baby.

Quite thick and feels a bit oily. Smell wasn’t very strong. Able to use for daily use. Might leave a white cast if not spread evenly.

First time buying this product from this store although I have repurchased the same product from other stores before where it doesnt have much of a smell. This product does not smell the same and has a strong smell.

I haven’t tried this out in the sun yet but first impressions, the formula feels like a moisturizer on the skin and when you blend it in, it has a minimal white cast (I’m quite pale though so I’m not sure how it’ll be on darker skin tones). This also pairs nicely under makeup so that’s a big plus. The only thing I’m concerned about is the that package arrived very hot to the touch (almost like the formula was boiled) and it was even sloshing around in the container when I shake it. I put it in the fridge for a while and I guess it turned back to normal. I opened it after it cooled down and the formula didn’t appear to be separated or damaged so perhaps the hot temperature was just a temporary thing. However, I’m kind of worried about the shelf storage conditions because sunscreens in particular can degrade in high temperatures and lose their efficiency against the sun rays.Aside from that, everything else about the product seemed fine, it felt great on the skin and it had no unpleasant smell. I wish it was water resistant though because I would like to wear it to the beach but I’m not sure it’ll be safe to use there.Edit: I wore it outside and it felt great! It was a bit greasy feeling at first but after half an hour it settled down and gave me a beautiful subtle glowing look. I have dry to normal skin and this made my dry areas look incredibly smooth. So far I’m very satisfied with this product and I’ll definitely purchase it again in the future.(I also made my younger sister try it and she loved it as well despite being quite picky about product textures.)
