One of the best purchases of my life
UPDATE: After using the product for a couple of months, I can confidently say that this is a great product. The battery lasts forever considering my usage. I believe, I only charged it twice so far but I had many shaves. Please keep in mind that if you don’t clean the blades, it’ll lose effectiveness! Since it’s washable, I suggest at least once a week, wash the blades and let it dry. I still like the dry shaving more and my skin got used to the machine, but you have the option of wet shave. I will update again if I see something really bad.I was not expecting such a great quality, to be honest. I’ve been using palm shavers for my head, and I shave like 2-3 times a week. Every time I used my shaver, which is an affordable brand that I got from Amazon, I had skin burn. It doesn’t bother too much but after shaving with Philips, I was so mad at myself for not buying it earlier.The design is very modern and useful. I liked the material. I have not tested the longevity of the battery but from other reviews, I got the feeling that it lasts long enough. I had a dry shave and it was veeery smooth. Cleaning the blades was pretty easy.One of the cons I noticed was that it left hair under my chin and I had to go over and over. It caused a little skin irritation. That might be because I didn’t shave with the right angle but I’ll keep an eye on it. Another thing is I strongly suggest you shave for the first time when you’ll stay inside. It’s because your skin will need to adjust to the new shaver so it may get more red than usual.I’m very happy with this purchase and shaved my head very easily. I almost look like a sphynx cat or a lantern visible during the day lol. I strongly recommend this product to everyone.

Great value and results!
Used Gillette razors for 50 years for the âclose shavesâ. Bought this shaver to go with my now-retired casual lifestyle. I figured I could live with a little 5:00 shadow now that Iâm not working, and at about $3 per week, razors are not cheap. What a pleasant surprise! Once my beard got used to not been no shaved with a blade, the result is a very close shave with zero irritation and no mess. Cleaning is easy, and the fact that replacement blades are available makes this shaver a great long-term solution. I did look at the super expensive electric shavers but didnât see any good reason to spend 5X as much and Iâm really glad I didnât!

A good, quiet shaver that gives a close shave
Charges from a USB charger which is nice when traveling. Holds a charge well. If you’re traveling for a week you won’t even need to bring the charger. Gives a close shave. It is a little less powerful than my old one so I need to move it slower to get the best results. Way quieter than my old shaver.

Convenient
This is a convenient, comfortable and efficient razor. The head snaps up for cleaning, but compressed air is my choice to remove beard stubble rather than water. Charging is pretty quick. The pop up trimmer is convenient. Considering the price, a good deal for a good machine.

I originally purchased this electric razor to touch up my face in-between shaving with a razor blade and shaving cream because I figured that it wouldn’t cut as close as a razor. I’ve been convinced otherwise.When I first switched this razor on, the quietness of it made me immediately think it would be a subpar shave…I couldn’t have been more wrong.I hadn’t shaved for days, so my stubble was pretty coarse and I worried that this razor would pull my whiskers for a painful shave. Nope, not at all. The heads glided across my face with ease, so much so that I thought I had not taken off some clear barely visible plastic on the heads. When I touched my face where I had just shaved, I literally said WOW out loud!PROS: – Shaves as close as a blade and leaves no razor burn – Does not pull or snag days old growth – Fast & efficient – saves a ton of time over shaving with a blade and cream – hipsters with shaving cream brushes need not purchase.CONS: – Hard to shave closely right under your nostrils like you can with the back of a Gillette blade cartridge- have to use the flip up trimmer, but it’s still not close as a blade there Sometimes I hit the power button while shaving and it turns the razor off – not sure if engineers can find a way of placing the power button down lower towards the power plug input, but it could be just me who hits it unintentionally. – I haven’t had the razor long enough to comment on durability, but initial quality is exceptional.Well done Phillips Norelco, well done. If you’re questioning yourself whether it’s worth the money, IT IS!

Best electric shaver Iâve ever owned
For a long time I never liked rotary electric shavers. I would either use blades or the linear type shavers. Reading the reviews, I thought Iâd take a chance on this shaver. All I can say, itâs amazing. You turn it on and it sounds like it is moving too slow to give a good shave. But a couple passes done lightly over the face and you have a shave that rivals the best blades, without all the mess. Itâs comfortable, smooth and really does the job. Iâm very glad I got it.

Nice razor for a good value
Got this model for Christmas to replace an older 5000 series Norelco. This new model is much quieter and shaves closer than the old one. Nice weight in the hand and maneuvers well on the face. Wasnât sure I would like the squared off head, but after using it I think I like it better than the rounded one. Got it for a great price on Amazon when they ran a special during the holidays. Highly recommend.

Works great even on 3 days growth. Nice smooth, clean shave, no tugging of facial hair. Best to go with brand name you can count on. My previous Phillips 5000 shaver is still working after 10 plus years. Needed a replacement head, it was half the cost of a new razor, so bought new one!Highly recommended.

Digo grata magnifica sorpresa, ya que por mas de 50 años, intenté por mas de una ocasión, con una marca y otra, diferentes modelos, etc. usar alguna rasuradora eléctrica para barba y con ninguna me acomodé. Los resultados venÃan siendo desastrosos, mal rasurado e invariablemente con la cara, pero sobretodo el cuello, terriblemente irritado, molestia que me duraba mas de 3 o 4 dias y tenia que usar crema para “rozaduras de bebé” para reducir el ardor y la molestia.En consecuencia, regresaba a usar el rastrillo, cuestión que no me molesta, mi barba a eso está acostumbrada, ya que es “cerrada” en toda la cara y gruesa y solo el rastrillo me ha venido funcionando.Por no dejar una vez más y para efectos prácticos solamente y con la idea de un uso eventual, cuando salgo de prisa por la mañana, con el deseo latente de poder rasurarme en el coche mientras me dirijo al trabajo, decidà volver a intentar el uso de la eléctrica, las siete maquinas eléctricas anteriores, las regalé después seguramente de algunos intentos desilusionantes, pero nuevamente con la ilusa esperanza de explorar por una maquina que cubra esta necesidad, busque opciones, por supuesto con buenas reseñas de usuarios, un costo bajo para evitar un derroche porque no me haya satisfecho el resultado.Asà y con reservas poco optimistas, elegà esta rasuradora eléctrica, el resultado es excepcional, caray tan motivante que por eso dejo éstas lÃneas escritas para manifestar mi gusto. Me he rasurado con esta maquina en seco y no sufrà la irritación tan temida por mi en el cuello, buena rasurada al ras, pero mas aún, la lleve a la regadera y con el jabón simple de uso, en la cara, la maquina corrió perfecto, rápido y de manera confortable, me he rasurado.Espero que el gusto se prolongue, pero hoy puedo afirmar, es una excelente opción para una barba cerrada y gruesa como la mÃa, de piel extraordinariamente sensible en el cuello y por primera vez, me atrevo a dejar constancia tan amplia como lo he echo ahora.

The shaver was fine but the circular technique required when shaving with this type of unit bothered my arthritis so I had to return it. I am sure that most people who are able to persevere with the recommended trial period will be happy with the product. This model that I purchased was manufactured in the Netherlands and the quality was good.
