Smooth beard trimmer, good battery life
Only used it a few times so far but so far: Does a smooth shave with and without the guard attachment; very smooth! works well; battery life seems great, I charged it for like 15 minutes and could use it right away; it feels good and solid and sturdy; easy to open and clean; it’s nice that it is waterproof. The small case is nice for travel. I do not think it would be good for edging at 0.4MM shortest length, I mean it is enough to set a target line or something but you really need a razor or a shaver that goes fully down to the skin. But it is a beard trimmer, not shaver, so that is OK, I shave with something else anyways. Overall very happy with the purchase. Would be nice for $100 if it came with a couple other guards just in case yours broke though or if you wanted more length. If durability is an issue I will report back but so far it is great.

Nice beard trimmer
I started growing my beard and needed a new trimmer and had a family recommend this 1. My first impression is pretty good. The battery lasts a couple hours and itâs great not having it corded. The trimmer itself comes with 1 guard but you only need it if you have a very long beard, otherwise you donât need it and can adjust the size on the trimmer itself (top number on the dial for without guard). Itâs not heavy and itâs something can be cleaned easily and put away in the small compact hard case it comes with; the case unfortunately doesnât fit the charging wire which was disappointing. I do think itâs a bit expensive for what you get ($99)

Yes. FINALLY a good beard trimmer
I’ve been looking for a high quality beard trimmer for years and years. It didn’t seem to me that anyone was interested in making a Sonicare-quality trimmer, something that will last a decade +. I’ve tried the i-Stubble (two different versions), manscaped, some other podcast DTC brand that escapes me, all claiming to be premium. They were are made of plastic with crappy ceramic/dull blades, made to be replaced when the warranty expires. I’d use them until the blades wouldn’t cut, then try to buy a better one.The entire time, I’ve been using the same Sonicare. It’s over 10 years old, never any issues. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to try Philips for a beard trimmer. This is Sonicare level. All-metal blade and guide assembly, nothing to grow brittle and shatter. It cuts in one pass, likely because the tolerances are staying tight longer. Simple, robust adjustment mechanism. Waterproof cleaning. And it’s a bargain if you’re in the habit of replacing your beard trimmer every two years like I was.

Easily the best beard trimmer I’ve owned
Easily has the best set of cutters I’ve ever used, adjustment mechanism appears to be very solid and reliable, battery power is great and it has a nice heft to it. Adjustment range is good, but probably not the right tool for bushy beards. Mine’s definitely not like that so it works great. Only dig I have is the battery power meter only seems to show when the unit is powered on, and I rarely think to check it as a result.

Nice to hold and get a great trim
I like how the it handles itâs heavy enough and well balanced with the rubber itâs a great feel I really like the easy way to adjust to get the right trim setting itâs so comfortable and not loud so only one attachment if you are growing a long beard battery lasts long it looks good itâs the best beard trimmer Iâve used I lost the case and the cord so Iâll have to get another one now to replace the lost ones oh well my fault so if someone is looking for a trimmer this is a good one to look at

Iâve been using the Philips Norelco Series 9000 for a while now, and it’s hands down the best trimmer Iâve ever used. The Beard Sense Technology is amazingâit doesnât cut or irritate my face at all, which is a huge deal for me since Iâve had trouble with other trimmers in the past. The trimming is super smooth and gentle.The best part is how easy it is to adjust. You just slide the dial from low to high for the length you need, and you’re good to go. Itâs incredibly precise and saves me a ton of time in the mornings. Highly recommend this trimmer to anyone looking for a reliable, skin-friendly grooming tool!

Good Quality
My last trimmer was much lighter and smaller so Im not used to the heft and weight of this one. However, its very sharp mechanism cuts through the hairs precisely. The charging cord is difficult to pull out but should loosen over time. I leave it plugged in since the cord is very long. In general, I feel it’s too large a machine for its intended purpose

It doesn’t get better than this, let’s just try to leave it at that. But seriously, there’s no messing around with guards, no attaching anything, no weird gadgets, it just… maintains my stubble at a perfect three-day length. The battery lasts ages, charges quickly, and you can use the shaver while it’s charging. It comes in a nice sleeve, of sorts, as pictured.And to address another reviewer – of course this only comes with a US charger, it is being sent from the US. Just check where it is being sent from before giving it 1/5 stars. It’s more or less impossible to miss that detail, given that the postage is usually weeks away, and given that it explicitly says on the product’s page, i.e. here, that it is coming from the US and it says that again throughout the tracking (of course). I’ve been using it for a long time with an adapter, with zero issues at all.To get it locally in Australia, that will set you back over $300 usually, so I think… to get this for $150 or however much, it’s insanely good value, and it is so easy to either use an adapter (US to Australia of course) or to just buy a new cable, if you really don’t want to use an adapter. It’s not a big deal, and as I said, it saves you so much money.Shipping from the US was fast, great service from Amazon, as usual ð Truly, I can’t recommend this highly enough. I spent so much money over the years, going from one trimmer to the next. I’ve had my current version of this shaver since 2022, but have recently re-ordered one, so that I have a spare. That’s how much I love it! It just makes shaving a much nicer experience, and I’ve had plenty of comments saying that my stubble “always looks nice, neat, and at the right length”. Winning!

This razor is just incredible. It removes hair so incredibly fast, trims my bread / body hair safely, feels high quality, and is adjustable. I personally donât like shaving clean on my face as I get in grown hairs because of this I was shave and get a soft shadow on my faces that being said thanks to this razor I can get a bear identical close shave but not have a single in grown hair – additionally I get a small vile of bread oil to apply after shaving.For my body hair it removes it nicely this being said be careful I have nicked basically every part you can think of. Itâs incredibly sharp so for my personally I like to set my facial shave close, body grooming to around 8 or higher.
