Best “manscaping” option!
My beloved gifted me a new personal trimmer for Valentine’s Day (was my request, you filthy animals!) based on my suggestions, driven by reviews and mainly marketing. I immediately returned the newest “manscaping” gizmo that was much better at marketing than working.The Philips Norelco Series 7K is a fantastic, versatile grooming tool that shows a LOT of thought went into it. Only down-side I can list is I wish it was Qi charging capable so it integrated with my shaver on the counter, but the battery is astounding so absolutely not a deal breaker by any means.Using it in delicate applications with the foil side, including arm pits, works fantastically with no irritation. If you adventure to southern regions, it again is fantastically gentle and effective.I really like the trimmer on the other side, especially since the (very effective) adjustable guard can be fully removed. Since I sport a flat-top haircut, this is great for touch-ups and shaping and the integrated and adjustable guard provides a lot of flexibility for various applications. Another use that I didn’t initially expect is the foil side head also provides excellent fine-tuning and shaping of a flat-top. I have used a dedicated Bruan foil shaver for this previously, but the 7K actually is much better for this. I assume it is because of larger foil openings, slower motor speed, and different edge trimmer design. I can report it works very well and will likely retire the Bruan. Of note, the foil side is NOT intended for face shaving for the reasons I listed as a pro for hair trimming…Very pleased and thankful to find something that works exceptionally well instead of an over-hyped “lawnmower”. Don’t fall for the BS, this thing is the best option out there…

Fearless Grooming!!!
It’s been 6 years since I purchased this and just realized that I never reviewed it. After reading an article on line that rated the top 10 “Manscapers”, I decided I needed to put in my 2 cents worth. BTW, it’s still working great!Women prefer a little “manscaping” even if they don’t tell you. This is the first razor or shaver that I have ever used that didn’t either pinch, draw blood or leave a razor burn. I can use this shaver without fear of accidental castration. One end has the razor for closeness with a pretrimmer that will cut any longer hairs before they get to the razor. It works great. The other end has a trimmer with an adjustable guard for areas that you might want to leave with a little bit of length, up to about 1/2″ in length. They say it can be used wet-or-dry, but I haven’t tried it wet and probably won’t.In my opinion, women would also like this for use on their “bikini area”. I know, it doesn’t come in pink or pastel colors, but, its a great razor that you can use on those intimate areas without fear, whether you’re a man or a woman. This razor is so fearless, you could allow your significant other to use it on you, or you could use it on them. No fear.

Best Trade-Off Between Cuts and Close Shave
The key takeaway is that you must choose whatâs most important for you. For me it is primarily not getting cut and having hair painfully torn with red friction. Having a perfect close shave is a far second. I can use a regular razor for that. If that trade-off works for you too, this is an excellent product that to me is worth the cost.As for other observations that may help: The shaver is well made. I like the quality of the blade and foil, and it works well wet or dry. It is quick to charge and clean. It is really two devices in one, but I am only using the shaver, and think it does a good job.

how inept do you need to be to rate this less than 5 stars?
i cant figure out where these bad reviews are coming from. i have to assume these less than 5 star reviews are coming from people with knock off products or the people using the shaver are completely inept.first of all: the shaving end is probably 20% louder than i would like.i have had this for more than a month, no battery trouble. in fact ive had more than 2 hours off a single charge. i use the shaving end every 3 days so twice a week covering full body. im an athlete and it does a pretty good job. lets compare: shaving in a tub 30+ minutes, wasted water, wasted shaving cream/razors, nicks, hard to get to spots, etc. norelco: full body buzz 7m, DRY, anywhere and anytime. got hairy and want to be a little more smooth for some fun in the sheets? mission accomplished in less than 3 mins.i have also used this on my face. i dont know how people can suck so bad as to mess that up. because i am extremely picky i still use a razor in a few areas and those areas are: under the nose/around the mouth, and keep the neck clean. this shaver does a good job over 98% of the areas covering the body if you arent an idiot and have a legit norelco. the trimmer is great and quiet. i use it to keep my hair buzzed down. would definitely recommend as its cut my grooming time down to 30m~ a week when i was spending 30m~ in one session staying smooth. convenience and ease of use w. no nicks or ingrown hairs is just the cherry on top.5/5 no question about it, one of the best and more intelligent purchases ive made and has saved me a ton of money on sharp and expensive razors.

Sempre uso seco, nunca no banho etc, nem pretendo, embora o fabricante garanta ser a prova dâágua, na prática acaba reduzindo a vida útil do aparelho.Contra:Antes desse tive outro da mesma marca, durou por 8 anos a bateria e assim como esse meu anterior, o fabricante não disponibiliza baterias substitutas e nem oferece esse serviço pela assistência técnica. Considero uma geração desnecessária de resÃduos.
