ZERO skin irritation, Healthy beard and Hair too!
I decided to buy this beard oil after seeing an Instagram ad for Johnny Slicks and what they stand for. I loved that it’s a small business and Veteran owned. When I tried the product, the first thing to note is that it smells amazing. You literally will never get sick of the smell, it’s addicting. Secondly, I saw in an instructional video that you can not only use this product for your beard, but for your hair as well. I thought that was a little weird at first but after using it in my hair daily for about 6 months, I can say that this is the healthiest my hair and scalp has ever been!!You know that point when you’re growing out your beard (around the 10 day mark for me) when you get all that irritation?? I used this beard oil from the start of growing out my beard and NEVER got skin irritation at all. I’ve used some other beard oils before but end up briefly using them and coming back to this. If you’re on the fence, buy it! You’ll never go back!

Best beard oil I’ve ever used. I can’t stop smelling my beard all day. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s a tincture. I prefer a pump bottle, especially when getting ready in a hurry.

Nasty Fragrance
This bottle contains the most powerful and deadly fragrance I have ever smelt. When I opened my mailbox I could smell this without opening the box it was shipped in. The fragrance is listed as “body safe” but that’s how most companies get around using these synthetic fragrances. STAY AWAY if you care about your health.

I’ve been a longtime purchaser of Johnny Slicks. Everything about their products are amazing. Great scents that last all day, all organic and handmade, veteran owned, outstanding business model (Johnny really cares about the environment, being all his ingredients come from the earth) and most importantly great customer service and interaction. The one complaint I had (past tense, now) is their shipping costs and time. Having to buy from his website means your subjected to be USPS’s handling (not Johnny Slicks fault, but still). That said, you do get a very well packaged product that is photo-ready as soon as you open it when you buy from his website. After the first few times, it is a little redundant and a little bit unnecessary to have to pay/wait all this time for shipping that you’ll just toss anyway. I’ve been wanting Johnny Slicks to come to Amazon for a while and it looks like he heard my prayers. The 1 day shipping and cut down on shipping costs makes it only that much easier to restock on beard oil.About the product itself, original is definitely my favorite scent. All his scents are unique, made by Johnny, and again all organic. After buying his pomade and beard oil for the very first time, I’ve refused to let any other beard product touch my mane. There are very few (if any) companies that can truly flex being “all organic”, but if you read around on Johnny’s website and understand his business model, you know that this product and this company are the real deal. I can’t say enough good about it. I can’t wait to see more of the scents and products make it to amazon. It makes sense there are only two scents for now, seeing this is still the same week they launched on Amazon. Thank you for coming to Amazon!
