Affordable Primer with Serious Staying Powerâbut a Strange Texture
As someone whoâs tried a wide range of primers over the years, I have to say that Nyx The Face Glue stands out. Nyx consistently delivers great quality at budget-friendly prices, and this primer is no exception.The marketing is cleverâthe bottle looks like glue, which is a fun and nostalgic nod to its tacky texture.The primer itself is sticky to the touch right away, which is intentional. That tackiness really locks my makeup in place, and I noticed significantly less creasing, even on my 41-year-old skin. It smooths over fine lines nicely and helps my foundation last through long days.However, the dried texture is a bit odd. It reminds me of having a thin layer of dried glue on my faceâitâs not uncomfortable, but itâs definitely noticeable. That said, itâs fragrance-free and didnât irritate my skin, which is a major plus.The affordability is another highlight. A little product goes a long way, so this primer is a great value. If you can overlook the unusual texture, itâs an excellent choice for keeping your makeup flawless all day!

I have used many a primer in my time, and this one is unique. I love NYX, they regularly offer well priced, good quality makeup products.Marketing is on point! This looks like a bottle of glue which is a fun twist on the product type. I love the colors, very 90s-esque to me.Product is tacky to the touch right out the gate. The upside to that is that my makeup does stay in place and lasts for a long time. The downside is the way it feels after it’s dried. It feels almost like a layer of Elmer’s glue dried on the skin, like I could grab it and peel it all off in a a layer.It’s scent free and did not cause any irritation on my skin. I noted less creasing that I do with other products, even on my 33 year old skin that has some lines. If you can get over the odd feeling, its a good primer and really does help your makeup stay on.As always, NYX has priced this product very well. Its very affordable. You do not need a lot of this primer to get great results, so the price point is very good as it should last a while.

Sin duda el Face Glue Primer de Nyx es un pegamento mágico!!!! Su textura ligera, nada oleosa, se fusiona muy bien con mis productos de skincare, ya que no deja rollitos o grasa en la piel. Además de que seca muy rápido, deja una capa imperceptible pero muy linda en la piel la cual al momento de aplicar el maquillaje hace que dure todo el dÃa intacto. y el empaque se me hace de lo mas creativo y divertido, es muy fácil de transportar y de aplicar.

I love this new primer. After the discontinued bare with me jelly I could not find a great primer through ELF or NYX but, his is the next best thing . It’s lightweight non sticky but keep your foundation and concealer in place through my 12 hour work day. A little dab of matte setting powder and u look fresh and clean. Thank you NYX
