An improvement in the satin types!
Love love love! This isnât my first heatless curler purchase. The satin ones never worked for me because I have very straight Asian hair. It would slip out while I slept.I also appreciated the cap and the spray bottle. I used to use those old school sponge rollers to sleep in when I was a kid. This is waaay better but kind of the same principle.For me, the trick is a little water, and product curling mousse or a hair spray. Ideally, waiting about an hour after a shower so my hair is almost dry. Only use watered down gel if you donât have anything else handy. Otherwise you risk the crispy look. This is before rolling the hair up, and also some spray after the curls are out and fluffed the way I want. If not, doesnât matter what I use, hot curler, heatless, theyâll be out within an hour.The velvet texture helped my slippery hair stay absolutely put. That means itâs not gonna be good for whipping them right off when you get up. Youâre gonna have to carefully unravel.Whatâs more, I was a little thrown off by how deflated it looked compared to the other one Iâd tried. I think that also helped my hair stay in place. It also helped it not be too uncomfortable to sleep in. None of these are gonna be awesome, but this one wasnât bad.As for length, I have mid back length hair, but not very thick. It was plenty long for me. I may even cut it and resew the ends on. Itâs a little cumbersome to tie up if you donât need that much length. Better too long than too short though!

Big time fan!
I have naturally curly hair but there are times when I want more waves than curly cues w/o having to use heat. I used the included small mister(works really well), fill up w/some water, sprayed my hair a bit & wrapped my hair snuggly around the headband finishing by tying the ends into a bow on top of my head. I throw on the bonnet. It was quite the cute look & quite comfortable!! I was a bit skeptical if it would be comfortable to sleep in considering I sleep on my back but overall, I still get a pleasant sleep and after a few hours it comes out so beautifully! I do not brush out the waves. I separate them using my fingers w/a bit of hair oil( I use the Ouidad bonding oil).* I have tried the socks method. It gave me nice curls as well but wasn’t as comfortable for me to sleep with as this headband was.*Even though my hair looks curly in the pictures I provided, my hair is actually much curlier than that! These are waves compared to my natural curl pattern!

Meets Expectations
Pretty much what I had expected for the price, the bonnet and the heat less curler was soft and easy to sleep in. I honestly didnât realize it came with two sets of hair ties which is super handy. The only thing for me was how compact the packaging was, as soon as I opened it I saw the clip was cracked.

truly Amazing
Since I was a kid for years I have been trying different heatless curling devices. I have a hard time curling with heat and the older I get my hair gets brittle. My friend whom I looked up to on her hair journey suggested this product. I got this set in tan and eventually got another in pink so I muy mom could have one too. It is not uncomfortable to sleep in, it’s easy to put in your hair and everything that comes with it helps big time. it’s nice to buy the whole set. although the bonnet does its job it would be better to buy a better bonnet. I’m not gonna take a star off because its such a small issue that I feel. my mom doesn’t feel the same. she likes it.

Pros: I like the picture directions on the back. I also like the water bottle that comes in the pack. The bonnet is an added valueCons: Nothing is satin. The bonnet is thin and made from polyester. The roller portion is flat so you get waves and not curls.I have been using a heatless curl set from a different brand on here for a year or so. I loved that set but I lost some of the pieces. I purchased this one because it came with the bonnet and spray bag but it pales in comparison.When I opened the bag, I wondered how a flattened roller would curl my hair but I still tried anyway. I was very disappointed when I noticed I only had waves and no curls. Also disappointed that nothing in the set is satin.

Amazed! I have naturally wavy/curly hair that Iâm growing out. As it gets longer, the waves just look weird and it takes so much time and effort to tame. I wanted an alternative to heat, so I tried this. This was my first attempt and I was skeptical, but it turned out much better than expected. The volume is insane and the waves look natural and soft. Iâll be doing this as part of my nightly routine now.

This product is amazing, takes under 5 min to do, and no hair product needed either-but make sure hair is almost dry (or fully dry). It is so comfy to wear all day and even sleep on. I really love this! I have very, very thick hair and curling it with a wand takes super long. Like 3 hrs long. Iâm not good with hair at all, except for putting my hair up lol which doesnât help. With this product I realized the best way to get curls with super thick hair is to shower first and wash my hair. The spray bottle doesnât work very well for me, so getting my hair completely wet is the best way to use this product for thick hair. Then to get better curls I do a French braid with the ribbon strings. Side note: if you donât know how to do a French braid thatâs okay, just braid it like you would making a bracelet for a craft. Basically the same thing if you ask me⦠Overall I recommend giving it a go and keep trying it, my first two tryâs were okay. But wet hair plus French braiding my hair with the ribbon part works the best! Now I can finally have curly hair without standing in the bathroom for 3 hrs with messy curls. Now it only takes 10 minutes or less. The only downside is sleeping with it in, not as comfortable but once you fall asleep youâre good lol. But totally worth it as the curls last all day with hairspray and beautifully turn into curly wavy hair the next few days.

I was uncertain when I ordered this product as to how well it would work on my impossible to curl straight, fine hair, medium length hair. After reading a lot of reviews on many similar products I decided to try this one. I can report that It is quick and easy to do, does not take any skill, is not terribly uncomfortable to sleep in, and holds the curl through the day. The secret to apply leave in condition to my wet clean hair and dry it to 90%, then wrap the hair around the curling rod (there are many You Tube videos you can watch on how to do this) and go to bed. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes and when I wake in the morning I have amazing curls that last all day long without adding anymore product. It truly is amazing! Just to paint an accurate picture of the contrast between this method and that of using a curling iron on my hair, I must drench my hair in a ton of product to use a curling iron and then top with a ton of hairspray just to get the curls to stay in for a few hours – so this no heat method really does work well.

Okay so it takes a little getting used to following the very few steps involved in placing the curler…of course I’m not as young and flexible as the women in the video…lol. But I did get it and the results got better every time. It is really comfortable to sleep with and I really like the “no heat”, no electricity required. It’s really soft and the bonnet is kind of cute. Overall I’m very pleased with this product and how much time and hair damage it saves me. I recommend for sure…just have patience at first.
