Ninja has a reputation for producing great products for the home. Thus, I was looking forward to getting and using this blender.I love a smoothie. I have tried other blenders especially since for health purposes my provider has recommended 1-2 smoothies a day.First, it needs to be charged. The charger is packed inside the blender itself. Plug it in to charge before use. It does take a long time. Don’t plan to use that day.The instructions are easy to read and follow. There is a little recipe booklet included along with a guide for what to add and the order to add the items. There is a good explanation about errors that can occur with the blender and how to correct them.The container itself has the markings for what you add – 6 ounces minimum of liquid. It has a max fill line.It comes with good instructions and a great guide for making your smoothies: liquid, fresh fruits, leafy greens, sticky stuff, and frozen fruits/ice. You are cautioned if you add more frozen fruits you may need to add more fluid.I added an 8 ounce protein supplement shake, a banana and a cup of frozen strawberries.It was so easy to use. Power on. When the white lights were on, pressed the smoothie button and let it do its thing. It will power on and off for a minute or more. Remove the vessel from the motor, push the button on the lid and drink. The texture was just right.You have the option of taking just the vessel or taking both the vessel and motor (for remixing later).I only have 1 complaint and it isn’t worth subtracting a 1 star. It is an irritation though. It should have a standard USB-C charger instead of the one it has that is a dedicated charger.I do recommend the mixer because of the power, versatility, and ease of use. Great for smoothies, milkshakes and more. We made daiquiris and they turned out perfect.

Powerful cordless blender
I use both the Blendjet 2 and the Ninja Max. I like them both. Once I read the trick with the Blendjet 2 for blending solids (inverting it, turning it on and then turning it upright so the ingredients encounter the blades at full speed), I was able to blend most smoothies without it stalling. However, the Ninja Max does a much better job with smoothies, leaving less residue and not jamming, even with larger pieces that the Blendjet 2 could not handle by design. It is much more like the 700 watt Ninja corded personal blender, but with a bit more intelligence. Part of its success may be its smoothie program which stops and starts the blender a few times during the cycle. I also like Ninja Max’s three button configuration and its separation from the base, although honestly you can just pour the liquid from the Blendjet 2 into another container. (I can’t imagine why you would carry the Blendjet 2 around unless you need to blend at several different locations. But if you do, that would be an argument in favor of the Blendjet 2 if it meets your blending power requirement). I also like the larger size of the Ninja Max container. I think you can get a larger container for the Blendjet 2, although I wonder if the 16 oz container is what it is really designed for. As far as cleaning goes, the Blendjet 2 is actually easier due to its cyclonic action. As far as the power supply, I don’t find the Ninja connector a problem. Yes, a USB C would be nice, but how would you know what size power supply it is actually designed for. Besides, you can always get a generic replacement if you have to. The connector isn’t exactly esoteric. Finally I got the cheapest color at the Warehouse — pink. It is definitely not in your face cute. More like a gentle rose color that I have no problem with. In fact, in the description, there is a guy drinking from it. One last comment, it does not have to be recharged after every use. A five minute blend is like 15 normal blends!

This blender is incredible and the best for on the go. No need to double wash dishes or transfer any liquid. It’s given me so many more food outlets and has helped with weight gain/calories

I decided to buy the larger blast because sometimes just bit more of a drink is better, saves me making the whole thing over again, even though the smaller one is great for things, I was bit dubious buying the product with the USA plug, just plugged it into the adapter and away it charged, Yes I’m very happy with both products from Amazon, smoothies are nice and thick, 8oz light milk, 1 banana, desert spoon of peanut butter, some times bit of ice, and of course the protein very nice after the gym, will try the other recipes as I progress
