Minimizes pores
I have large pores on my cheeks and chin. This really does a good job of minimizing the appearance of pores. Itâs not great at controlling shine. My makeup sits well on top the product.

I recently tried the Neutrogena Matte Primer, and while it does have some positives, I canât give it a perfect rating. I have very oily skin, and although the primer keeps me matte for part of the day, it doesnât quite live up to its claims of staying matte all day. By midday, I find myself having to blot my face multiple times. It does help control oil for a few hours, but I was hoping for something with a bit more staying power. For reference, it feels smooth going on and does create a nice base, but it just doesnât quite keep up with my oily skin throughout the day. Iâm still on the hunt for a primer that can handle my skin type more effectively, but this one is okay for shorter wear. Iâd rate it 3/5 stars.

This is MATTE.
This is VERY MATTE.I am trying this product to see if it gives my makeup some longer wear time, especially for formal occasions + dancing. My face sweats a lot, which often has my makeup melting away or fading away. I’m not using it to fight oily skin. I’m a dry skin girl, not even combination skin. For any dry skin girls trying this, please prep your skin well before using this product. Otherwise, you will feel dry.

Does absolutely nothing to stop shine. It actually looks shiny immediately after applied. I don’t know how these company’s put out these products in good faith, a complete ripoff and non fulfilling product

Strong chemical smells
Smells like an auto mechanic shop. Doesnât leave my skin refreshed and clean like other primers. It adds a layer to your face which feels gross.
